She's been vaccinated so I'm hoping that will give us a break. I'm
sure it's just the beginning of a lot of the communicable diseases and
head lice issues.

DD got them a couple of years ago 3 days before the appointment to get the
immunisation shat against it - and I got them then promptly too - for the 2nd
time in my life.

Yeah, my concern is that my youngest may be vulnerable to exposure,
but there isn't much you can do.
I got shingles as an adult. Very painful!

joys of school. ATM up to a 1/4 of infants (first 3 years of school) are off
on any day, chickenpox, end of winter colds, flu etc.

Oh dear, I hope A won't get it... E should be safe, but it's still

Both girls got the CP two years ago.. not biggy at all. Glad it is over
though. The school now mandates all kids be vaccinated for CP. So because
the girls had it they don't have to be vacc.

E was vaccinated and I'm pretty sure A was at her 1 year visit, but I
called the phone nurse and left a message for her to call me back, as
I want to double-check.
