Eleven years ago, Daughter-units Alpha and Beta came kickin' and
screamin' into Real Life® -- starting that rollercoaster rollin' at 3am.
I plan on reminding them of this at the appropriate time.

Happy birthday to both and many more!

Happy birthday to Alpha and Beta :-D! I had no idea their birthday was
so close to Spawn's. Party week at Clan Ranger ;-).

It's not Spawn's they're close to... I was hoping for mine (in a few
more) so that I could overshadow them forever-more. <EG>

Dude!!  All three of them hatched within a coupla weeks?  Couldn't you
think of anything else to do on a cold November-December night?
Give the girls a big hug from me.

Uhm. No? Ya gotta remember I don't have to hybernate with my winters.

Will do, niner-niner-Minnie. (I'll let the calm down a little longer,
though.)

Happy birthday to the girls.

For some reason I thought they were turning 12 this year - as I thought they
were a bit older than my DS - not almost a year younger.   Aren't they
starting 6th grade this year?  or are they just starting 5th?

Yep. And the boyz're takin' notice of D-uB. She had a seventh grader
walk her out to my car -- for "safety" reasons he said -- the second day
of school! (I just can't wait for that first dance I've volunteered to
chaperone...) D-uA giggled the whole way home as I mumbled.

hehe .. why do i think he needs more protection than she does? ;)

She won't be giggling when she finds out you're chaperoning!

ALthough at this age there's a safety net--none of them
can drive themselves to or from the dance.  (Can you pretend
you're a hired chauffeur?)

Before you know it, we'll be suggesting you rent the "Father of the
Bride" DVD.

D-uA's the one that told me about it, with a, "So can you?" I honestly
torn. I can't stand the music (sounds like a butler falling down a steep
stairwell) and I'm pretty sure I don't want to be there with their first
dances.

Who's pretending?! I already _am_ their private chauffeur!

Had it since 8/28/94. One of my bils thought it'd be useful for me... I
got FotB2 for Spawn's birth. My bils; caring, thoughtful, considerate...

wow - they are young for their grade.  My DS has had his little girlfriend
since last spring.  Although they go to separate schools this year, they are
still in touch.
