Claymation and modernization joined seamlessly to make a WONDERFUL
movie. The never-ending puns, the subtleties of adult burlesque, and the
most excellent use of facial expressions make this a movie for all
ages... (_Especially_ the adults.)
I took all three daughter-units to this feature and we rocked aloud to
the upcoming movie previews of "Chicken Little," that Brady Bunch
update, another Unfortunate Mary Poppins genre, and even Zorro's next
got some buzz... But that Penguin short really kept them glued to their
seats and guffawing...
I saw D-uB's head spin about and look over her seat-back.
I turned and looked back to where she was now staring hard. A teenangst
boy was thumping the back of her seat and the boy-kid's next to her.
Both were turned around full in their seats and staring. Teenangst Hood
toed the seat again to show the stares mattered nothing to him.
Boy-kid's mom turned her child around and shushed him.
<thump!>
I could _feel_ it before I heard it.
Without a word, I stood up and walked to the edge of the wall and up one
aisle to the seats above Beta and Boy-kid. I didn't excuse myself as I
pushed through legs and up to Teenangst Hood.
He was so focused on D-uB, he never saw me.
<thump!>
"Kick that again and I'll break your leg before you finish. You're
leaving. Now."
Teenangster looked up, the white eyes opened wide in clear panic, and
then he hunkered down in his seat like he was having a bad dream.
"Leave on your own or leave under my power. Make a good choice."
"Come on Sam," the teenangster beside him hissed and pulled on his arm.
Sam didn't look at me as he stood up and left. I followed him down the
aisle and to the exit. To make sure Sam didn't try and come back in, I
went to the courtesy desk and let them know what had happened. The
manager comped me for another movie but asked that I let them do that
"dirty work" in the future.
Yeah. I'll do that.
The feature ended and my girl-units were chattering about all the things
they saw (and even some they didn't.) Daughter-unit Beta then quietly
asked, "Did you hear that boy's mom?"
"Huh? No. I'm sorry. I didn't. Why?"
"She said, 'Thank you.' as you walked those boys out. When you didn't
respond, she asked me to thank you, too."
"That's okay. Just what did the two of you think you were going to do by
staring at them?" I smiled over at her.
"Make 'em stop?"
"Uh-huh..."
That's my girl!

Do you have to show off in here every time you did something trivial
that for some reason you are proud of? It's so pathetic. Ordinary people
do sh.t like that every day and don't think about it, let alone brag on
usenet.

Do you have to prove with every post you are such an insignificant prat?
It's so pathetic. It's so sad to see that you can't even attain
"ordinary" in your everyday life. And yet you continue to post here and
elsewhere.
BTW: I'm still holding out hope that someone does the same to you some
day. If for no other reason than to prove that you are nothing more than
a blight to the world.

Nope, not anti-male. Pro-female.
Having daughters will do that for you.
If you can't deal with women and pro-female men, you're welcome to leave.

At least he writes about it in a style I admire, and I am always
enjoying the way he tells his "something trivial", what I can't say of
your nonsense posts. Go back to the freeware groups where you trolled
before! This is Usenet, this is no lexicon and no wikipedia. This group
*is* about ordinary day to day things!

Hi, Ranger!
Nice told, as always, and a nice way to get rid of that boy.
BTW, your posts are the only ones that I nearly always have to read
