I started potty training last week.  Within 2 days we only use a diaper
at night.  She wears big girl panties the rest of the time.  The
problem we have started having is that she will pee a little bit in her
panties before she tells me she has to go.  She never wants to go when
I ask her.  Sometimes it is more than a tinkle and we have to change
panties and pants.  She usually goes every 2-3 hours.  My question is,
are these accidents a part of potty training or did I start before she
was ready.  I would hate to go back to wearing diapers after we have
gotten this far.  And it has only been one week.  Please help.

It sounds like she is realizing she has to go as she starts to go, stops and
gets to the potty.  If that is the case, she is normal and doing fine.  Most
kids have a bit of problem with this during potty training, in my
experience.  REminding her to go when you read the potty jiggle dance and
when she is involved in playing, so not as likely to be listening to her
body will help.  You're doing fine.  Enjoy the new stage!  The next one,
after she becomes comfortable with potty going, is discovering that there
are pottys to use everywhere you go.  You will know all the ones all over
town before long!

I went to wal-mart today and my boyfriend 2 year old little girl went at

Oh yeah - when they know where they are and they're different ones,
most kids tend to go here there and everywhere..
