I just do NOT get some parents. I utterly do not understand them. Theres
*another* tummy bug going round school. Katherines teacher has been
off with it for a couple of days. As we were picking up Katherine from
the party I noticed one girl 'S' was as white as a sheet. She did look
quite unwell. A few minutes later I heard her telling a friend that she
had been sick on the way home from school. Her mum filled in the story
to the Ss friend that S had been sick over her Grandad on the bike.
According to Katherine S was feeling poorly in the afternoon.

So why why why why did her Mum take her to the party???????????  I do
not understand it. Does she think her daughter would enjoy the party
feeling rotten as she did? Did she really think she would perk up within
half an hour of being sick???

Of course during the food at the party Katherine sat next to S. So whats
the betting she comes down with it. Then I'll get it as I always do and
grrrrrrrrrrrrrr its such bad timing, its the school Christmas Grotto
this weekend and Im in charge of the layout of it.

bother and drat and triple bother.

Funny you should say that, I have dd off nursery *still*, from the
middle of last week, with a tummy bug...yesterday was her worst day,
asleep on the sofa all day, waking up only to be sick :(

I did say to dh, I wonder how many other mums, beside me, folow the 48
hour rule (ie not to return untill 48 hours cear of any symptoms). None,
he reckons, and he's probably right!

Hope K doesn't get it, it's horrid!

:( your poor dd and poor you. that sounds really really horrid. I hope
she gets better soon

:( my tummy is feeling ickier and ickier tonight - feels really 'hot'
and queasy. I really really hope its from eating too much popcorn (or an
overactive imagination)
