dh has a 2 week trip to Thailand coming up. Although we have travelled
around Europe and the states we havent been anywhere quite so exotic
before so I wanted to run a list by you guys to see if we've forgotten
anything. The weather could be wet but it will be hot, this week its a
max of 33C (92F) and min of 25 C (78F) and showery. Its the start of
dengue fever season and apparently the mossies bite in the day so he
will need long sleeves Thanks :)

To pack:
clothes - obviously!
raincoat
umbrella
meds
upset tummy remedies
painrelievers
bite reliever cream
mosquito repellant cream
suncream
travel plug
moneybelt
books
passport lol

Things that should have been done:
travel innoculations
informed credit card company of plans so they dont put a fraud lock on
the card.
phone numbers of bank cc company.
photocopy of passport.
set up with a webmail account so we can email each other.

Anything else?

This won't help in your packing but I wanted to let you know.  A guy I
used to work with used to travel to Thailand every year (his wife was
Thai).  He said almost without fail he ended up with bronchitis.  The
last year that I knew he went he ended up with walking pneumonia (sp?).
He never would have realized it was anything different if he hadn't
had a surgery scheduled after his trip.  They had to delay his surgery
to treat it.

Thanks for letting me know :) dh has asthma so I will certainly remind
him to be alert for any symptoms, especially as the area he is going to
is very very polluted.

soft comfy pillow for flight out (airline pillows suck!) They sell  neck
pillows s but you can compensate with something small and comfy.

Any particular easily packed foods he enjoys.  I always take my favorite
teas and crackers.

Toiletries

Pictures of you and K!

Another good idea, especially if he gets a tummy bug, I'm not sure thai
food would be soothing.

I bought my brother one.  I told my sil if he doesn't use and his neck hurts
not to give him a neck rub.  I winked at my brother!

eek! Thanks Marc. Immodium is something we always carry abroad after a
very unfortunate experience dh had in greece :-/

youre right they are good. I particularly note the effect of humidity on
cameras as I'm lending him my digi camera. Mind you Katherine dropped it
into our tadpoles and it survived so it should be ok.
