Ohhhh sounds lovely.  It's not raining here but it did yesterday and
last night.  It's blowing like crazy though and it looks like it's
raining leaves.  So beautiful!

Need Rangers recipe for later... pass it on!

Today is sunny after a week of yuk and rain.  But it's blowing like
crazy and the wind is cold so we're inside.  I'm finishing up the
girl's Halloween costumes and catching up on housework.

Nan, coming for dinner :-)

mmmm - beef stew!

today has passed in a very jet-lagged haze. It seemed quite warm and
humid but very grey sky. We had Ks homemade pizza tonight.

Pork chops here if I can get everyone together.  Tonite dd has a party
to go to and it's 6 p.m. she and her dad are still out doing errnands.
I won't make dinner til everyone is home because I know dh is never home
when he says he will be.

your pizza idea got me going though... maybe that would be a better
idea?  QUicker and more wholesome.

It works out pretty well :) we make a big batch of dough (very quick -
bread flour, yeast, water, olive oil, no proving) and freeze it in
portions. Use ready made pesto instead of tomato sauce stuff, put on any
toppings fancy, top with cheddar cheese and put in hot oven for 20 mins.

Hope your meal (what ever you have) comes together :)

It is cold alternating bleeding hot day by day here, so it is hard to decide
about dinner before midmorning.

But I've baked the Xmas cake, should be ready in 8 weeks. :))

lol, yes every fortnight - can't make it strong for the kiddos. I also make
two - a round one for us, and a large square one which I divide up into 4 -
5 small cakes for friends - enough to have a Xmas slice without having it
hang around. Although ours never makes it to New Year, lol.

It is always a good feeling that Xmas is coming, or more the long holidays.
