Brushing teeth!  I fixed the problem!

A while back I had posted something about brushing my teeth then puking
because of it, almost each and every time...
I thought, since it came to mind a few minutes ago, while I was brushing my
teeth before bed, that I'd do a little update on this situation...

Before I was using Crest or this other kind of tooth paste - Colgate? I
think? - and I've tried every type of tooth paste I could find.  Yes,
there's about 6 different flavors/brands of tooth paste currently open in my
bathroom :(

Long ago, I tried the Sensodyne (original) and for some reason, I can brush
my teeth forever and not gag and puke!  I've also found that it helps to use
slightly warmer water, rather than cold.

Anyways, just passing on some info in case someone might have had the same
problem or something... I'm also extremely tired, so that's why I've decided
to babble a bit.  Pardon me ;) hehe

I noticed the same thing. I have sensitive teeth anyway, so I usually use
Crest Sensitive or Aquafresh Sensitive, or Sensidyne, although Sensidyne is
a LOT more expensive than the others.

Never had any problems brushing my teeth or with nausea while pregnant, but
used some "regular" toothpaste one day and got really nauseated. Not sure
why.

I am glad you mentioned this. I mostly lurk but might be getting back
into the swing of things as I *think* and hope (I have reason to be
wary) that I am pregnant again. Nausea from brushing my teeth was one
of the worst things about pregnancy. I used minty Crest before
pregnancy, I had to switch to an **orange** flavored Crest or Colgate,
I forget but it was in one of those standing tubes and the flavor was a
cool orange. It wasn't the greatest but I couldn't handle any mint.

I currently use some kind of Colgate cinnamon. It is not too bad , as
long as it isn't a minty flavored cinnamon I do ok with any cinnamon or
orange but never is mint or wintergreen okay.

I don't know if I'm pregnant yet. I am one of those people who gets
false negatives on early pregnancy tests until I miss a period and then
some. I pretty much have to miss a period by 2 days to get a positive.
I had a blood test done for hCG and this could clue me in tomorrow but
if it is negative I will not be able to be sure until I miss a period
still. grrr. But yeah I remember the toothbrushing situation.
