Oh! Scrapbooking! I've tried and tried sooo hard, yet I am horrible at
it... :( It's one of those disaster things that I keep trying at, yet I get
nowhere except with a big mess of destroyed papers, pictures and everything
else under the sun :'(
Back on topic, though, I actually took a liking to things like that again,
since I found I had a lot of free time with nothing to do to occupy my mind
and hands. I started doing little crafts and actually, when pg with DD, is
when I *tried* scrapbooking, yet failed miserably. To this day, even though
I know it's been a disaster for me, I still so badly have this urge to keep
trying, and keep hoping I'll get somewhere with it.
I also had this urge to paint, paint, paint... Painted DD and DSs bedrooms
and then moved on to the bathroom. I've wanted to do our room, but I
dunno... Our room seems to be too small and too packed. Since the idea's
been tossed into my head, I think I'll spend this evening painting the
blanket shelf in DD's room!

If you have digital photos, you might like this a lot...www.picaboo.com.
You download software onto your computer, and it's a digital scrapbook
program. You open the program, chose templates, themes, frames, paper, etc,
and download a series of photos -- something that tells a story -- your
pregnancy and birth, or new baby girl, etc. Then hit "go" and it
automatically fills in the book for you. You can then go and move the
photos into different orders, add pages, etc, or change the frames, papers,
or what not. Then, when it's done, you can buy the printed and bound
version of the scrapbook for $9.99 for a small one (5X7 with 20 pages) or
$29.99 for the larger version, (11X9 with 20 pages). They are hardcover and
look lovely, although I've not seen one in real life. But, I did download
the software, down load about 27 photos of my 40th birthday party, and it
whizzed it together in a pretty good format, for an automatic system. If
you group your photos in the order that you like, it should work out...I
haven't bought a book yet, but it was fun to play with!
