Hi All,
Glad I posted the question is there are any single parents in Australia.
Are there any who live in inland Australia in the small rural communities
like myself?
I am looking for others to share ideas on parenting of teenagers
I particularly want to hear from women who are on their own with no living
family, to see how they manage and what strategies they use when no family
around other than social workers.
I live in rural inland NSW

Hey Louise! Those strategies wouldn't be limited to Australia! LOL
My closest family is living, but....... 650 miles away. Hardly a resource I
can pull on. I live in suburban North Carolina USA with a hormonal teen boy
and no tangible support network... Would that work?
He (and I) have lived this long without killing each other so that should say
something good about me. LOLOL
Just my 2 cents.........

My kiddos are 14, 16, and 25.... I live about a 3 day drive from
family (a sister and a brother). My husband, parents, in-laws,
grandparents... all dead. Is that alone enough?
