I don't know whether to treat this as tragedy or comedy. Is this a new
pedophile scam, or a unique way for child protectors to deny their own crimes?
The online article contains sketches of two women.

Social worker hoax odd, puzzling
Women posing as staffers stripped kids; 2nd such scam in six months
By DAN ARSENAULT / Crime Reporter

Halifax RCMP have released composite sketches of two women who falsely claimed
to be social workers in order to enter a house, undress children and examine
them.

...."It's the same as the incident that happened in Timberlea," Sgt. Taplin
said.

In both instances, the children's clothes were removed but no pictures were
taken, nothing disappeared from the house and the children were not
inappropriately touched.

The Timberlea incident took place at the home of Dana Curtis.

In an interview Wednesday, she said she has no idea what the pair were up to,
although she found their behaviour to be a little odd.

"They just seemed kind of uppity, snotty, very aggressive.

"They said they wanted to check them (her children) over because they received
a complaint about my daughter.

"They asked me to strip them down."

Shocked by the horrible accusation, she readily set out to prove them wrong by
disrobing her two toddlers.  And that's exactly how parents get sucked into the
system.

After that, the two women went through some closets in the house.

Nothing odd about any of this.  That's exactly how CPS workers operate.  And if
you resist, you are "in contempt of social worker" and the nasty real CPS
workers just get nastier.

Fern,

I'd say post it on the appropriate ng and follow up however you choose.
This has nothing to do with alt.parenting.spanking.

Au contraire, ma petite.

Even you know of CPS single-mindedness, especially when they have nothing else
to do, but harass good families.

CPS is on point with this newsgroup.  Spanking.

Lavonne decides to be Judge, jury, and executioner for this NG.

UNMODERATED.

Wow!  The great Fern knows a French phrase.  Was this used to impress or
just to appear ridiculous?  Curious minds want to know!

I've never known a CPS worker to be so desperate for something to do
that they decide to harass good families.  Every CPS worker I've known
has been so overburdened that they worry children will slip through the
cracks of an underfunded system.  How many CPS workers have you known,
Fern?

> CPS is on point with this newsgroup.  Spanking.

CPS in relation to spanking is on point with this newsgroup.  Did you
forget what you wrote?  Nothing in your original post is even remotely
connected to spanking.  You could care less about spanking.  You care
about CPS, and will take any chance you have to post the most
sensational material against CPS that you can find.  You then post it to
alt.parenting.spanking and pretend this is about a spanking
discussion.  Your behavior is so transparent it is silly.  Wonder where
the original Fern went?  I do.

> Lavonne decides to be Judge, jury, and executioner for this NG.

I have called attention once again to your silly posts that are totally
off-topic but certainly agenda-driven.  Your agenda has nothing to do
with spanking and everything to do with CPS.  Wonder why that may be (grin)?

> UNMODERATED.

Of course this newsgroup is unmoderated.  That's why you have not been
banned.  Unmoderated does not prohibit other posters from pointing you
to more appropriate newsgroups for your agenda.  Oops, I forgot --
you've been stonewalled on that one (grin again)!
