That YD is staying with you is probably good for her, I'm less certain it's good for you. However, I think you did take on some responsibility for her as her stepmother so I'd feel uncomfortable with the idea if you'd dropped her! I just wonder if you've promptly filled the hole in your life that Chewy has left with his eviction. Make sure you look after yourself and your son, as well! As I'd said a couple months ago, where our relationship went was up to her. Since she got into counseling, she's grown quite a bit. She's taking responsibility for herself and her own happiness. Make sure you look after yourself and your > son, as well! I'm trying to keep busy and not let that hole fill in too quickly. I don't want to do some rebound thing. YD and I have made a kind of pact - she's going to help me keep my head on straight wrt not rebounding and I'm going to help her not become a workahaulic at her job. I think we'll do alright.
