I was happily married with 4 children and then my husband died. Our youngest
was 15 mounths old. Now she is nearly 6. I have re partnerd. He is divorced
has 2 children. Just finished the court battle for shared parenting and
visitation orders for thoses children which went in our favour. The concern
is the 6 year old is wanting to call him dad and he is not keen at all. She
knows that her dad has died and just wants  to have a dad for a lot of
reasons ,but most of all because she loves him like a dad. He tells her no I
can only be like a dad. This is upsetting her a lot.She has asked why he
doesn't love her. It is making me question my relationship with him. Is she
wrong to want and need this void to be filled. He wants to get married soon.
I feel that I have made the wrong choices for my daughter. Please help
