this morning i was awoken with the news that my 18 year old stepdaughter
was fired from yet another job...this one lasted 2 days...she was late
again after 2 days on the job....its getting ridiculous...no work
ethic...hopefully she has another one soon because she has a car that
she has to pay for...50 dollars a week to pay for it....she isn't
getting any money from me or mommy...she has to learn a lesson but
sometimes she doesn't learn....or should i say..most times....another
thing is the guys she is attracted to...all these lowlife bums that
don't work and are in jail...when decent guys call her she doesn't want
to have anything to do with them...but these guys that are soon to be
convicts or are convicts...she likes them....

well....my 18 year old stepdaughter that thinks she knows everything
moved out tonight...all i can say is good riddance...i hope she finds
out how tough it is out there in the real world...she still has a lot of
growing up to do and when she does ill probably be an old man by
then...lol.lol.lol....well anyway...i heard that she has moved in with a
friend of hers family and lets see how long they will put up with her
sh.t....in my house its my way or the highway....i know thats a cliche
but its the f.cking truth....i felt i was losing control under my own
roof....anyway....i anticipate a very happy holiday on my end...and
maybe on hers too but who the f.ck knows...all she is doing is breaking
her mothers heart by being a little selfish, inconsiderate, and greedy
little girl....

When she has to pay for her own gas and tires and insurance, she'll get
a job.  Just my two cents (and how I was raised).  I had a job every
summer since I was 13.  Anyways, just a thought.  Maybe transferring
some of the financial responsibility to her will make her work for
something.  But, girls are indeed different!

heh.

We had a young man here who said he wanted to do a farm internship.
Well, farm work was "too hard."  (He'd only helped with the feeding and
helped clean up around the house and the barnyard.  We've not done any
heavy work lately.)  We got him a job in town, then (when I was too
frustrated to deal with him in our house any more) I found him an
apartment just a few blocks from his job.

This week, he got fired - no call, no show.  Word around town is that
he thinks he can make it just fine relying on his monthly SSI checks.
Blech.  He's not coming back here for another shot.
