I've recently adopted a 12yo girl, and her 5yo brother from their
mother who had passed away. They were in my care during her final days,
and I took it upon myself to adopt them when she passed on. They are
copeing with the stress well, but I am concerned about the girl. I find

My wife and I will be adopting a baby from China either late in 2006 or early 2007. We are currently applying for a passport but need clarification regarding the procedure for the baby?

This morning we celebrated my son's 14th birthday, with an ersatz cake
of mini-cinnamon rolls bearing four candles and a booklet of home-made
coupons for the area skate-boarding or snow-boarding excursions of his
choice.  No cars, no ponies; we did let him light the candles.
