cosleeping and crawling31 Jan 2004 19:54 GMT54
For all of you cosleepers--how do/did you all deal with your little one
crawling in the bed?  DS is 7 months old and cosleeps part of the night with
me--then part of the night with DH.  I go to work in the middle of the night
so DH has him alone in bed for half of the night.  We are ...
Greetings31 Jan 2004 10:17 GMT6
I've been lurking for a while now and figure it's high time I said hello.
I'm Deirdre, bewildered and delighted mom to Joshua, all of 4 weeks old.  He
is our first (and likely only) child, and while we've certainly done our
homework, DH and I are about as clueless as can be about ...
5 month old refusing to nurse31 Jan 2004 03:21 GMT2
My DS is just days over 5 months. He's always been high needs, fussy,
whatever you want to call it, but in most cases he would calm down if
nursed, and sometimes be right as rain within seconds. We co-sleep and he
has a nurse-to-sleep association, which we've been working to break ...
nursing necklace?30 Jan 2004 23:30 GMT7
Does anyone have or use one? I've seen them on several natural baby type
sites and I think I might order one. Xander has become easily distracted
while nursing and has done the string cheese thing to my nipple more than
once in the last few days. I just thought I'd ask here first to ...
Isn't it supposed to get better...30 Jan 2004 22:54 GMT44
I feel like I am really losing my mind, I am so exhausted.  6 weeks ago
it seemed DS was clearly moving toward sleeping all night.  There was
even one night where he only got up once, and only nursed for 5 minutes.
But instead since then things keep getting worse.  He has gradually ...

Too much nighttime nursing?30 Jan 2004 19:12 GMT3
( I don't think my original subject line was specific enough)
Michael Jude is 10 weeks now and still co-sleeping with us.  I nurse him to
sleep each night as it seems to be the olnly way to get him to drift off into
never-never land. I'll deal with getting him to sleep on his own ...
If only sleep were carrots...30 Jan 2004 17:05 GMT23
Caterpillar was extremely enthusiastic about carrots.  She actually
finished a 2.5 ounce (70ml) jar over 3 days.  And after the good carrot
experience, she was willing to eat rice cereal over the following 3 days
(more rice cereal than I would have given her, by the sound of it, but ...
DD slept 9 hours straight!!30 Jan 2004 14:19 GMT3
I am so happy!  DD is 23 months and has only slept through the night about 3
or 4 times ever.  We have been trying to get her a little more scheduled and
were waking her up at 7am every day and letting her sleep no more than an
hour for nap so that she goes to bed at a reasonable ...

When did you start dairy?30 Jan 2004 01:22 GMT5
I've read mixed reviews about when it's ok to start dairy such as yogurt,
cottage cheese, regular cheese. Not milk, I know not to start that until a
year. I've read that 9 months is ok if baby has no allergies, is this ok?

need encourement30 Jan 2004 00:30 GMT11
I really need to hear some positive stories.  I am so sad.  My baby was born
on Dec 14 and nursing has been wonderful.  She has never had anything but
BM.  I went back to work on Monday, fulltime.  I have no choice but to work
so cutting back or quitting is not an option.  My work ...
