| Side nursing not working anymore :( | 30 Apr 2004 22:01 GMT | 2 |
DS and I were doing great with side nursing at night for a few weeks there, and I was really enjoying getting the extra sleep. However, the past week it has not been working for us, and I am (reluctantly) going back to sitting up to nurse him at night. Just thought I'd see if any of ...

My lil 6 week old Lily Parker had her checkup today. She is now (drumroll please) 10 pounds and 2 ounces! She was 7 pounds at birth, lost 3 ounces her first week and gained it all back plus an extra pound and an ounce the following week. Since then she's gained over 2 pounds! ...

| So we told everyone about the baby . . . | 30 Apr 2004 02:55 GMT | 16 |
. . . at my birthday party last night. You cannot imagine what a lukewarm response we received. It was like, "Oh, congratulations." Then the topic was quickly changed and no one mentioned it again. My mother said something like, "We aren't exactly surprised." Well, I knew she ...

| Strange change in let-down | 30 Apr 2004 01:36 GMT | 5 |
I've been nursing Aamon just fine for the last 6 months, but lately, I've been having trouble letting down sometimes and he gets *really* angry at me. He'll just pull away, which doesn't help at all. If he keeps trying, I'll eventually let down and he eats just fine, but if

| locking clip? | 30 Apr 2004 01:26 GMT | 16 |
We have an extra carseat that requires a locking clip, and we've lost the clip. The seat is barely used and I'd hate for it to be useless because we have no clip. Does anyone know where to find such a dinosaur? I peeked around on the internet for a few minutes and it

| I hate the clinic rant | 29 Apr 2004 20:34 GMT | 27 |
I hate the clinic. I just went to get Moo boy weighed so I know which way to put his new car seat in. There I was, sat on the floor singing nursery rhymes to him and generally keeping him amused for the long wait. I was the only mum

| Weight? | 29 Apr 2004 20:16 GMT | 1 |
Hey All OK, so is there a time when you are nursing that it just doesn't work as a vehicle for weight loss anymore? My DD (26 mths) nurses only about 3-4 times a day and sometimes wakes up in the night for a quick nip or two.
