Fluconazole (diflucan) (cross posted mkp/mkb-f)31 Dec 2004 11:59 GMT12
I was flicking through Hale's today and googling a bit, contemplating
the risk-benefit analysis of fluconazole (diflucan) for ductal thrush
(yeast infection) in the late third trimester, when I noticed that
clotrimazole is, according to Hale, Category C in the third trimester
questions about teeth and peanuts 31 Dec 2004 10:47 GMT10
Hi.  My wonderful daughter just had her 1st birthday and we are still nursing
strong.
She has 4 teeth and she is getting two more.  Every time she gets new teeth she
scrapes, bites, and it basically hurts to nurse for a week or so.  Should I
ingredients/nutrients in breastmilk?31 Dec 2004 05:35 GMT5
Someone once posted a list of all the nutirents in breastmilk and their
quantities butI can't find it anywhere, does anyone know where it could
be?  It was like the breakdown you get on packets of food, said how
much iron etc was in 10ml of milk.
How long before certain foods' effects are out of breastmilk?31 Dec 2004 03:28 GMT7
Hi, my daughter is 3 mos and I'm breastfeeding, and I'm starting to
recognize when certain foods upset her. Mainly due to a couple of times
I've gorged on the offending items, which so far are peanuts and
chocolate. I was wondering -- is there any length of time after which
Menstruating again?30 Dec 2004 21:25 GMT8
My DD was born June 16, 2004 and I believe I had my period return although
very lightly on December 26th, 2004 and it seemed to barely last 48 hours.
Is it too early to be menstruating again?
I bled that terrible lochia stuff for about 2, almost 3 months. I was
Major Sleep Problems at 12 months...30 Dec 2004 19:21 GMT11
It's been a long time since I posted (note the new user name, I used to

DS is 1 year old now and we're having some major sleep problems.  He
used to sleep fine in his crib, wake once during the night, nurse and
Getting rid of formula supplement30 Dec 2004 08:28 GMT6
I'm mostly a lurker here but today I've got a question of my own.
On Dec. 16th I had my 2nd baby, a little girl. She was about 3 weeks early
but still weighed 3820g (8lb 6oz). During the first two days of her life she
lost over 10% of her body weight. My milk didn't come in until ...

Oatmeal Myth29 Dec 2004 20:24 GMT23
Where are these actual creditable sources that say that oatmeal will
increase milk supply? I brought it up at a LLL Meeting when a Mom was
looking for tips and the room dropped silent instantly and stared at me like
I had just farted. They believe this is completely a myth. Some, ...
benefits of delaying solids29 Dec 2004 20:17 GMT14
What are the benefits of delaying solids till 6 months or longer when
we don't have any known food allergies in our family?
Is there any evidence of delayed solids and less occurance of obesity
in kids when they grow up? (the sentence didn't sound right but I hope
Solids29 Dec 2004 18:08 GMT22
When do you increase solids from 1x/day?  We started DD on solids when
she was over 6 months.  We only give her about 1-2 tbsp 1x/day about 1
hour after breastfeeding.  Just wondering when to increase the frequency
of solids?
Increasing Your Milk Supply29 Dec 2004 16:07 GMT11
For Karen and others
Greetings!
Throughout history breastfeeding mothers have used lactagogues, substances
or methods to increase milk flow. These may be psychological, such as
