Green Diapers03 Dec 2004 07:31 GMT6
Every so often, Lorelei has a greenish dirty diaper.  It looks normal in
consistency, but not color.  This happens once a day at most--the rest are
normal.  It could be my imagination, but she seems fussier before the green
diapers.  Any ideas?
Foremilk/Hindmilk03 Dec 2004 06:31 GMT5
If it is an imbalance causing Lorelei's green diapers, how do I resolve it?  Is
that when I am supposed to offer the same breast several times in a row?
TIA,
Leslie

Nice Story02 Dec 2004 09:39 GMT2
Throughout my teens and early-mid twenties, I worked as a babysitter and
nanny.  Only ONE of the moms in the families I worked for breastfed.  Before
I met her, I thought I'd never breastfeed...I thought my breasts were merely
for sexual pleasure and that breastfeeding was for ...
supplementing sorrows02 Dec 2004 08:03 GMT10
DD was born Nov.9th at 7lbs 10oz.  4 days later she weight 7lbs 2.5oz...4
days later 7lbs 4oz and only increased up to 7lbs 7.5oz by 2.5 weeks.  She
absolutely loves to nurse and is so incredibly sweet about it.  I often wake
up at night after nursing to find her cuddled right in to ...
Xavier has a cold :(02 Dec 2004 05:10 GMT24
It is just starting but he is congested.  My supply really dropped
unfortunatly.  I even called the 1800# for LLL after explaining to DH that I
am not pumping in vain but for the hopes that Xavier may yet latch on.
Anyway X is having a hard time laying flat.. he was waking every ...
Two Problems:  Not sleeping through the night and food allergy01 Dec 2004 20:54 GMT5
I have two problems.  My six month old son will not sleep through the
night.  He had been getting up only once and then finally he slept
through the night for three days in a row but now he's up about two or
three times.  Is this normal and are there any suggestions?  I suspect

We've caught a bug.  Cough-cough!01 Dec 2004 17:37 GMT7
Well, it seems Morgan was able to go 8 months without getting sick.  She
seems to have a slight cold.  Fever of 102 this morning.  Runny nose.
I've salined her a few times, given her plenty of fluids and Tylenol a few
times.  It seems to be working.
passing lead through breast feeding?01 Dec 2004 16:32 GMT9
A friend is a police officer and she is currently breastfeeding. She is
required to do a 'shooting range' thing every so often and they want her to
go to the range for the next three days for this.
She's concerned about exposure to lead from the bullets & such and bringing
milk quality declines?01 Dec 2004 16:00 GMT21
A good friend is being pressured by her pediatrician to push more solid
foods into her breastfed 10 month old - ped says that breastmilk isn't
enough after 9 months.  I KNOW that this can't quite be true as I am
exclusively nursing my plump and happy almost 11 month old due to ...
Ameda Lactaline - first impressions01 Dec 2004 11:06 GMT6
Well, thanks to all the helpful advice on here, I went ahead and ordered
the Ameda Lactaline (Purely Yours for the Americans) and it's now
arrived.  So far, so good - easy enough to figure out how to assemble,
and trying it out was far more comfortable than I'd expected.  However ...
question about first AF after weaning...01 Dec 2004 04:59 GMT2
My son is 6.5 months old and I had been exclusively pumping pretty
much from the beginning.  When he turned 6 months, I started weaning
off of the pump.  As of now I am only pumping every few days and I
think I'm almost finished completely.
