Travel Questions (non-bf friendly family members)03 Mar 2005 19:26 GMT13
So we've been over the heart murmer, the supplimenting for weight gain (she
averages 22oz a day atm from birth weight to last tuesday) and my incision
healing troubles.  My Dad & Step-mom decided to fly us all out to Texas for
a 10 day visit.  The problem is that they are not the ...
A baby smell I'd love to bottle03 Mar 2005 18:37 GMT2
That buttery smell of breastmilk breath. Seriously, I just love that smell.
It's very sweet and rich smelling. Guess the flower baby's breath didn't get
it's name from just anywhere. ;)

Our new 7 do baby girl is learning to breastfeed. She is able to latch on

The last few nights .. she has been awake pretty much all night feeding ..
Pumping blisters?!03 Mar 2005 12:18 GMT4
I now have two large-ish lymph-filled blisters on one areola because I
positioned the pump wrongly earlier and got too caught up in work to stop to
check the slight twinges I was getting. What should I do? Burst them?!
I've just nursed from that side, which was not that sore but I ...
do sour smelling poops in bf baby indicate a problem?03 Mar 2005 08:45 GMT4
My 6 mo is exclusively bf. She gets thawed ebm 8oz per day. Rest of the
time she nurses. She always had vinegery smelling sour poops. Since
she's gaining well I didn't think it's a problem. Well is it?
Thanks.
Going insane (x-posted mkp/mkb) (long)03 Mar 2005 05:35 GMT11
My DD (3) is having some major behavioral issues right now, which I believe
are indirectly related to this pregnancy.  I'm going out of my mind, because
I just can't figure out the best way to handle it.
Background; We mainly practice AP.  DD still nurses and cosleeps.  I am also
Bad Weigh-in :-(03 Mar 2005 01:17 GMT23
At the ped's today, Lorelei was right back in at 12 lbs. 6 oz., just
like 13 days ago.
The doctor was concerned, but did not insist on a supplement today as
there is no sign of dehydration or other problems.
Flying with a 3 month old (and a breast pump)?03 Mar 2005 00:35 GMT27
I have a chance to go to an out of town workshop in a few weeks, which
happens to be in a place that we have friends who haven't gotten to meet
Alli yet, so DH and I are planning to fly up for the weekend. It's about an
hour, non-stop flight. This will be the first time we've ...
More Weight Gain Woes :-(02 Mar 2005 20:57 GMT31
A month ago I posted this:
<<Lorelei weighed 11 lbs. at birth.  At three weeks she was 11 lbs. 3
oz., up
from 10 lbs. 5 oz. in the hospital.  Yesterday was her two month check,
Google giving out addresses for phone numbers02 Mar 2005 20:51 GMT2
Google.com has implemented a new feature wherein you can type
someone's telephone # into the search bar and hit enter and you will
be given a map to their house. You can however have your # removed
or blocked. I tested this and sure enough my address came up, and
FAO: Live Journal Users02 Mar 2005 20:09 GMT2
Since there appears to be a growing number of people using Live Journal
these days, I just wanted to mention that we have an mkbreastfeeding
community set up.  This is  not an open community but only accessible to
those who have verifiable cross-references.  More details are ...

Our night-weaning story02 Mar 2005 14:02 GMT4
Hi all- I've been mostly lurking here and very occasionally posting
since 10/2002 when I first was pregnant with my now 20-month old son.
You have all provided so much good advice and encouragement.  I don't
think I would still be nursing him now if it weren't for all of you.
6mo not a serious nursling anymore!01 Mar 2005 23:30 GMT4
My 6mo used to nurse like it's business. Well not anymore. She's more
interested in the surroundings. She nurses like I have tea. A sip, look
around, smile, chat and another sip etc.. And she wants to nurse every
2 hours. Any tips on having her nurse longer less often?
