Any tips out there on how to get a determined 7.5 month old to take her antibiotic? (ear infection) We are on our 2nd course and she initially would take it from the dropper without too much fuss, but now screams, wiggles, grabs the dropper, shakes her head side to side, clamps her

| Change in nursing habits of 5 month old | 30 Apr 2005 03:12 GMT | 2 |
Hm, you've all got me thinking. DD1 nursed to sleep all the time. At about 5 months she quit, and it was quite a battle to get her to sleep. DD2 however has never nursed to sleep, or comfort nursed - until about 2 weeks ago. Has anyone else experienced anything like this - and ...

My friend's baby has just been diagnosed with reflux at 5 weeks - not a big surprise, as his older brother had it. The baby is on Gaviscon, and she is having trouble giving it to him - she is breastfeeding, and he will not take it mixed with water or ebm, and she doesn't want to ...

| Introducing a bottle - conclusion | 29 Apr 2005 14:04 GMT | 5 |
Well just for those that are interested .... My wife had her op. I tried my best to get Lucy to take a bottle but she just wasn't having it. So - she had a whopping 6 hour gap between her feed until my wife was back from surgery and felt well enough to BF.

| jellybean nursing pillow? | 29 Apr 2005 06:07 GMT | 19 |
I'm shopping around for a nursing pillow for #2 - #1's pillow is old and flattened, and I sort of think it's something they should each have their own special one of . . . #1's pillow is a "Baby Sitter" made by Jolly Jumper. It's okay, but

| parathyroid scan | 28 Apr 2005 08:35 GMT | 6 |
I have a parathyroid scan scheduled for next week due to an unidentified lump in my neck...it was detected over 6 months ago but luckily the docs held off on any aggressive action on it, but have decided its time to figure out what it is and what to do about it.

| Questions about nursing a 5 month old | 28 Apr 2005 03:42 GMT | 8 |
Hi all, I'm afraid I'm not really even a lurker these days, as the 2 year old and the 5 month old just don't allow me computer time. So apologies for just jumping in and asking questions. My 5 month old will only ever nurse from one side each feed - but then gets
