Will's Checkup30 Jun 2005 10:22 GMT9
Thought I'd post an update on William.  He will be 5 weeks old on Friday.
The child health nurse came yesterday for the first time.  The first
thing she commented on was how alert he was.  He also had his pointer
finger out and was tracking it - she said, "wow, he's advanced!"  :)

Is how much sleep I got last night, as I go off to work this morning for a
'break'. We tried breastfeeding. We tried nappy changes. We tried
homoeopathic teething remedy.  We tried Paracetamol. We tried having the
heater on and a warm wheatbag. Actually, I tried most of this; I ...

working mothers: pumping28 Jun 2005 17:09 GMT16
Hey everyone,
I'm a little concerned on how I'm going to manage pumping after the baby is
born.  For my first I was home so it wasn't an issue.  Now, I'm in a
significant role at work and usually don't have time to even eat!  I

cow's milk intolerance?27 Jun 2005 18:53 GMT2
I consume a lot of milk products. My 10mo nursling never reacted badly
because of it. When I gave her some yogurt two days ago, she threw up
while sleeping. She also was coughing so I blamed the cough for it. I

We have a biting PROBLEM27 Jun 2005 18:34 GMT5
I never thought much about babies biting the nipple when nursing my son.
He used his teeth sometimes and gave me a nip here and there, but
never anything terribly painful.  I nursed him for 19 mos and this was
never a problem.
One more item to add to the must-have list for breastfeeding moms27 Jun 2005 18:01 GMT41
www.modestmums.com  offers nursing covers for breastfeeding moms.  I
love mine and so do my friends and family.  You can get them online or
at small boutiques. I looked at a few different ones before choosing
this one, and I'm really happy with it!!!  Check it out.
