yeasty beasties30 Aug 2005 16:11 GMT9
So Sproglette's yeast is back for the third time, it's not responding to
*this* cream either, and the yogurt isn't doing much. Anyone got any ideas
what's going on?

how long w/o EBM or nursing?30 Aug 2005 09:01 GMT1
This may seem a bizarre question, but I'm curious -
with a 7.5 mo old breastfed infant, previously exclusively BF but eating
solids quite well since 6 mos (started solids at 5 mos), and now nursing
frequently when mom is around, but handling time away ok without EBM or
Cots29 Aug 2005 20:00 GMT2
Does anyone know where you can buy the cots that the hospitals use with
newborns, I have cross posted to mkb because I believe there are a few
midwifes on there hoping someone knows where to get them, my local Multiple
Birth Assoc. want to donate a twin one for the local hospital ...
Remind me?29 Aug 2005 19:01 GMT7
Being it has been awhile since I nursed a newborn, when do they start to
space themselves?
I am not in any rush, but would like an idea of when I can schedule a few
doctor appointments for myself where he wont be permanantly glued to me.
baby disinterested in solids29 Aug 2005 14:28 GMT11
My son is 7 months old now and I can't seem to get him interested in solid
foods.  I started introducing them at 5.5 months, but he seemed pretty
unenthusiastic, so I waited a week or so and tried again.  Well, he's in
daycare and they report to me that no matter what they give ...

I'm having heaps of probs with messages in mkb at the moment (I can't see my
last post through sunsite and it keeps losing messages in mkb off the
server?)  but just googled mkb and read how well L is doing.   I'm so
pleased that she is bf so well and that you've been able to cut ...
Birth story29 Aug 2005 03:56 GMT30
I posted a birth announcement of our son Jens a couple of days ago but I
didn't see it show up so I guess it got stuck somewhere. Anyway, I
promised I'd post the birth story later, so here it is. It is, happily,
not al long story :-).

I have a veterinary question for you.  If you are not comfortable answering
this type of question online, I fully understand.  I don't want to impose on
you, but I don't know any veterinarians to ask!  We will of course be

Nipple Problem28 Aug 2005 21:14 GMT3
I am 24 weeks pregnant and DS (26 months) still nurses a little just before
he goes to bed at night, though some days he's not bothered. At 18 weeks,
when he was still quite a busy feeder, feeding on my left breast was so
excrutiatingly painful that we've continued only on the ...

Daycare with sippy cup instead of bottles?27 Aug 2005 06:46 GMT22
Yesterday we gave my 6 month old DD a sippy cup with a little water for
practice. She really enjoyed it. It got me thinking that when she is 1
year old I'll be going back to work and she will be in daycare. She
doesn't take bottles. Would I send sippy cups of breastmilk to daycare
let's try that again . . .27 Aug 2005 04:52 GMT24

Best sippy cup?27 Aug 2005 04:35 GMT11
I'm trying to encourage cup use with Alli. Is there something which is
between the avent cups with valve (which are really hard to get anything out
of) and  the avents without the valve (where it might as well be open?).
