| Unsupportive family | 31 Oct 2005 21:45 GMT | 13 |

Is it "essential" or very helpful to purchase tops that are specific to breastfeeding? I don't have any, and I was just thinking about how handy would it be to just lift up the shirt? Do you invest in "nursing" clothes or just adapt?

| AFand sore nipples | 28 Oct 2005 22:38 GMT | 2 |
AF returned last month and was accompanied by very sore nipples. It was almost as bad as nursing a newborn (pain wise...but there was no rawness). Poor little guy wasn't happy with the decreased output, which didn't help. It just made him want to nurse more frequently. And from

I am due in December and only have 2 really crappy nursing bras. I bought them from Motherhood maternity and find that the shoulder straps have stretched to the point that they slip off my shoulders and there is no more adjustability in them, they're as tight as they'll go.

Sorry, this is a bit off topic I know. I haven't been able to read or post in a while since we still don't have internet since Rita. My 14 month old is no longer napping- ever. She has never been a great napper, but before the hurricane, she would go down around noon for an
