Sasha Eileen made her way into the world Saturday, September 24th,
8:30PM MDT.  Unfortunately we had a repeat c-section, but we can
dissect the reason(s) later.  It's actually been a surprisingly easy
recovery, much easier than the last two c-sections, presumably because

I have a medela pump in style, and have been looking around in preparation
for storage bags.  Reviews on the Medela bags are not great, I guess the
twist tie closure is a real hassle and not completely reliable.  Are there
any other products that fit the Pump in Style so I can ...

Went to the doctor's again last week to get my blood test results back...
Haemoglobin:  11 (normal is 12-16)
Ferritin:  117 (120 is the bottom of the normal range)
Practically back to normal!  My new iron pills are plainly working well!  I

My DD is 3.5 months old and only weighs 13lbs, 4oz. Her lowest weight a
few days after we came home from the hospital was 7lbs 13oz. She is
extremely strong and healthy, could hold her head up from birth, has
been able to roll back to front and front to back for a few weeks. My
advice please: nice clothes for a nursing mother11 Oct 2005 21:59 GMT13
I'm feeling wretched about my wardrobe these days. First of all, I
dress like I'm a penniless university student - scruffy jeans and
sweats, logo t-shirts, hoodies, etc. I feel justified in this because
spending money on clothes has never been my priority, and since I'm at
If I HAVE to supplement, is there any better way to do it?11 Oct 2005 11:27 GMT13
I'm hoping it's a brief downswing, but I've gone in less than a week from
producing enough to keep up with what Alli's taking to producing about 6-8
oz less than she wants on a typical day-and to make matters worse, the last
few days she's been eating more than usual. I'm popping ...

Dear Dr Mitchell,
Is it really true that a woman's breasts will 'sag' after breastfeeding for more

Ok, so after another night of waking every hour or so, we decided to try
co-sleeping last night... Will fed at 9:30, 12:30, 3:30 for proper
feeds, then 4:30 and 5:30 had comfort feeds (not really awake but crying
a bit) and woke at 6:30 all happy.  It was quite successful ...

I have to go to Philadelphia for a weekend conference/job interviews in
the beginning on January, and I'm trying to decide whether to take
Micah.  He'll be almost 14 months by then.
Reasons not to take him: DH can't come, so I'll have to fly

As I bared my whole breast at a restaurant tonight (kind of shirt I was
wearing) without thinking about it, and my husband reminded me to cover up
with something, it occurred to me that each act of going too far at least
has the effect, like the gravitational pull of the moon, of ...

OK, this tandem nursing thing has caused a surprising effect on Theona
(28 months old), and I thought I'd ask if anyone else has had this
problem.
For the last several days, she's had very yellow, loose, diarrhea-like
