Update: Breastfeeding related signage in restrooms30 Nov 2005 01:56 GMT20
Some time back I posted about being treated extremely rudely in a
council-owned women's rest room here while breastfeeding DD - on two
occasions by the same attendant. The restrooms have three main rooms - one
is a sunny lounge area, the other has nappy changing facilities, and ...
Screamingly frustrating...29 Nov 2005 21:54 GMT47
Friend of mine and her bf are splitting up.... he wants custody. Baby is 8
months and bf... He wants "equal time" before the hearing... and said, "If
she wants the baby breastfed, she should pump and send milk along. I was
weaned at 3 months  and I'm fine."
Sigh-Annual appointment with OB29 Nov 2005 10:02 GMT59
I had my yearly with my OB/GYN-which in my case is also the "See if
everything has healed correctly before even considering a next pregnancy".
And as far as the appointment was, everything went well. However, when I was
asked about my menstrual cycle, I commented that I hadn't had ...

Here's an msnbc article about a JAMA article stating that women who
breastfeed for a year have a 15% lower risk of developing type II diabetes
later.  Each additional year of breastfeeding lowers the risk by 15%.

swollen nipple27 Nov 2005 02:31 GMT4
I haven't a clue what is going on, but one nipple is swollen about double
the usual size, it's literally only the top 1cm or so, meaning that latching
is slightly painful first suck, but once she is on properly she's gripping
round the unswollen areola. It also looks slightly red ...
Poop question27 Nov 2005 00:09 GMT2
Baby poops a lot, which I like. It's yellow but recently he started
getting one or two half-inch green "strings" in the poop... can't even
pick them up as they curl up as soon as you touch them and they look
like a thin something rolled up.
FAO Kmom25 Nov 2005 17:46 GMT2
I've just reread your SPD page, I hadn't read it since I was pregnant, so I
hadn't paid much attention to the postpartum stuff, also I don't have any
misalignments but still have major problems nearly 6 months pp. Do you have
any resources not related to misalignments? Also, ...
Pain in Breast25 Nov 2005 12:18 GMT5
Hi - I have some pain in my L breast.  It's been going on for 3-4 days now,
and I am not sure what's going on.  I was at work on Sat and pumped 2x.  I

thinking that maybe the pump just hits different milk ...

Just popping in - 1 year update!23 Nov 2005 23:10 GMT1
Hi everyone, Nice to see lots of familiar names!  It is DD2 1st birthday

thriving, determined girl, who is learning to walk (but wants to run, so it
is taking a while!) and has 10 teeth!.  She pretty much ...
