Strange visit to Pediatrician31 Dec 2005 20:49 GMT32
Morgan is 21 months old.  She has had a cold for 2 weeks and began to throw
up and have a fever so I took her to the Pediatrician.
Her normal doctor is not in so we saw another one.  She was diagnosed with a
double ear infection.
Planning for return to work --- pumping questions31 Dec 2005 12:09 GMT17
My maternity leave is almost up.  I'll be back at work
starting January, while DH takes two month's "child bonding"
leave.  I should be able to work from home two days a week,
while DH takes care of DS2 here, meaning that DS2 will only
formula is starting to look pretty good...31 Dec 2005 11:57 GMT4
Ok, started out with cracked nipples, then mastitis.  Now I have a horribly
cracked and bleeding nipple on the same side as the mastitis.  Some people
thought I might have thrush, so I went to the doc who couldn't really tell,
but prescribed my Nystatin ointment anyways.  My ...
Cute Nursing Bras ~ Any Suggestions?30 Dec 2005 20:48 GMT3
Hi Moms,
I just found this group and thought you might have the answer. I've
been nursing my second child for nine months now and realized I could
use some new nursing bras. Unfortunately, it seems they haven't
12wk slept 7-7 for 3 nights but not now. Why??30 Dec 2005 20:45 GMT4
We had the best Xmas pressie of all - our 12wk old woke on Xmas morning
at 7am for the 3rd night running meaning he had gone roughly 7-7. We
were ecstatic. However, since then he has gone back to his usual waking
(usually just once) in the night.
Moving onto solids30 Dec 2005 20:43 GMT3
This is the first time i have used this and I hope i every one had a
great christmas and that the new year will all bring us all a happy
year to come, but i need some advice on reducing my breastfeeds on
putting my daughter onto solids she is 5 1/2 momths. At the moment she
night sweats???29 Dec 2005 20:37 GMT6
I've been having really intense night sweats for about a week now.  At first
I attributed it to the mastitis fever, but I am past that and am still
having them every night.  I vaguely remember a nurse mentioning sweats and
diuresis, but don't recall in what context.  Is this ...
Sensitive gag reflex?29 Dec 2005 04:08 GMT5
I'm introducing DS2 to solids, but he's a bit different to DS1, except in that
their first solids were grass!  Thought I'd forego the rice cereal, as DS1 ate
so little of it.

How much to extract?27 Dec 2005 16:23 GMT9
My 4 month old DD is finally after a long battle accepting the bottle
with EBM,  Yesterday for the first time she drank 4ounces but she
seemed to be still be hungry after that.  I breast feed her for another
10 minutes and she seemed satisfied.
the flu or mastitis?26 Dec 2005 18:51 GMT5
I woke up this morning with a very painful and throbbing right breast.  But
no hardness, lump, or redness.  Throughout the day, I have started to feel
much worse.  Now I have a fever of 102.  I still am pumping and bf'ing on
the right side, and it is soft and pliable, still not ...
A funny CTTS26 Dec 2005 16:59 GMT2
Jessica is 13 months and really starting to develop a little vocabulary. I'm
pretty impressed actually, considering all the trouble with the ear
infections (she has her 9th right now, appt. w/ENT on 1/20).
Tonight I was nursing her before putting her to bed. She took a few sips,

what does a plugged duct feel like?24 Dec 2005 19:47 GMT1
I have this excruciating pain in my right breast.  Not the whole breast
hurts, but one area in kind of a line from top to nipple.  It almost feels
like an intense engorged pain, and all night it throbbed.  It's agony!  But
I don't feel a hard lump or anything to indicate a clog.  ...
