| Cheaper source for disposable changing pads | 28 Feb 2006 20:26 GMT | 48 |
I was at the dentist's yesterday for a cleaning and made a great discovery which I want to share with those of you who use disposable protective liners on the baby's changing pad: the vinyl-backed 3-ply paper bibs used by my dentist are IDENTICAL to

| Gerber Manual Premium Feeding sysem | 28 Feb 2006 00:16 GMT | 14 |
I'm looking at different breast pump products and I wanted to ask if anyone had any experience using the Gerber Manual Premium Feeding system. The product information looks quite good, but I'd like to hear from anyone who has used the latest version of the product.

| Schedule vs demand | 26 Feb 2006 04:54 GMT | 16 |
How do you put a baby on a schedule when bfing? My baby is 2 months old and is totally not on a schedule. I have been keeping a log of her habits and am surprised that she nurses 12+ times a day - and many are very short feedings. She takes a ton of short naps and only a couple

| Leaving Breastfeed baby | 25 Feb 2006 20:32 GMT | 28 |
Hi I'm new to this...but I had to ask a question that has been bothering me and I wanted some other opinions. I bought tickets while I was 6 months preggo to Miami for Spring Break. I will be leaving in about 20 days for a 4 day trip. My newborn will only be 7 weeks old

| Triggering colostrums and milk flow | 25 Feb 2006 16:16 GMT | 6 |
I'm embarrassed to ask this, and I'm glad that no one can see me blushing, but will my husband's propensity to suckle my breasts stimulate early milk and offset Mother Nature's time clock? I'm in my eighth month and I'm worried that his sucking (Coitus is against doctor's ...

| Consistency of Milk | 24 Feb 2006 15:19 GMT | 2 |
I pump everyday at about 9am regardless of my plans of the day, that milk is in the refrigerator for the day incase it is needed, otherwise it is frozen at the end of the day. I noticed these last two days the milk has been coming out very watery

| what do stay at home moms do? | 24 Feb 2006 01:23 GMT | 30 |
Hey, I have to ask! This is new territory to me. I've always worked and worked full time. It was a neccessity before as a single mom. Now I'm married, and we have determined the family is better off if I don't work. So now what do I do? The house is clean, the groceries ...

| the saga goes on | 23 Feb 2006 13:47 GMT | 4 |
My physiotherapist has discharged me, not because I am better or on the mend, but because I am too bad for him to do anything. I'm frustrated by this as basically I've only had one dip, as in my muscle function had always improved even if only slightly since the previous ...

| an update | 23 Feb 2006 11:09 GMT | 20 |
Emily is 10 weeks old now and usually only wakes up once in the night. We were just at the pediatrician for her 2 month checkup and shots, and she weighed in at about 10lbs, which put her in the 25th percentile. I asked the doc what it all meant, and he said the charts were ...

| BF Questions for anyone who has had a C-Section | 22 Feb 2006 10:40 GMT | 17 |
I am nearly 41 weeks pregnant with a baby who is lying in a transverse position. I am scheduled for a C-Section in 2 days (Tuesday morning) unless we are lucky and the baby either turns or we find someone who will perform an external version (unlikely at this point).

| Weaning - how to tell? | 22 Feb 2006 09:44 GMT | 8 |
I so don't want my son to wean just yet... he's not even 9 months old! It's not like I don't have enough milk for him. During the day he doesn't feed much at all, regardless of how much breakfast or lunch he eats, which is usually not much. He will have a

| when do you first weigh a baby? | 22 Feb 2006 09:04 GMT | 25 |
Looking and Happy Hunters post and having had similar experience, of babies not being weighed provided everything else is fine, I wondered what others have experienced. Do they way babies daily in hospital? Do you visit the Ped and get a weight check?

| Darn it | 22 Feb 2006 00:32 GMT | 8 |
I'm getting candida in my breasts again; I recognise those stabbing pains. Nipples are fine, and no evidence of thrush in my mouth or anywhere else. The big problem is that Spudulika obviously has it too; the last two days she has had the most awful intestinal wind; screaming
