thrush / surgery19 Apr 2006 16:33 GMT4
I am considering scheduling surgery for November.  Nursling DS will be 21
months.  Nursling DD will be over 3, potentially weaned.
I am fearful of taking antibiotics in general, even more so since I fear
thrush as a result.  I mean, thrush aside, I feel like my little bugs and I

19 mo DS *would* have to have a nursing strike of sorts while we were
staying with the ILs wouldn't he?  Nosey SIL who "must wean on the dot of 1
year" was in my ear every 5 minutes with "oh well if *he* wants to wean you
*have* to let him" .... of course it wasn't anything to do ...
Oooooh!  D*#n Dirty trick!18 Apr 2006 08:40 GMT25
I go out to the mail today, and what did I find, 6+ weeks after I've
given birth?  A big box of formula - "A free gift for you!"  And just in
time for the 6-week growth spurt, too!  So much for trying to clean up
my language around the kids.  I wish I thought it would help to ...

Sore breasts17 Apr 2006 16:57 GMT8
I'm 15 weeks pg, and it honestly feels like my breasts are on fire. They are
so hot, so sore, so *heavy*, and anything - even air - irritates them. The
idea of DH touching me or of breast feeding in 5 months time is enough to
make me scream. They've been sore for over a month now, ...

nipples problem - nothing helps so far17 Apr 2006 01:27 GMT7
For the past month I have been having problems with sore and irritated
nipples. (DS was born on 03/06) My nipples are erect almost all the
time, it feels like they are burning, cannot stand the touch of bra or
clothes. They also get blanched from time to time. At one point, my
Babies are here!16 Apr 2006 19:14 GMT21

how to keep her happy?16 Apr 2006 06:33 GMT13
I need ideas and suggestions for my poor DH.  I work on Monday nights and
leave DD (3 months) with DH for about 3 hours.  I normally try to leave it
to the last minute to feed her before I go, and I leave some expressed milk
in a bottle for DH to use.  He now hates Monday nights. ...

CTTD: Feeding a ball14 Apr 2006 15:13 GMT2
So, I go to pick up my sons at daycare.  It's a nice day outside, so
the 3 year olds are outside on the playground.  I get over to the
playground and my 3 year old (Nathan) yells, "MOM, I'm feeding my
baby!"  And there he is, shirt hiked up and an 8 inch round playground
Weaned, and a thank you14 Apr 2006 15:09 GMT1
My 34-month-old son has weaned.  We had our last nursing session
(unbeknownst to me) a week ago Monday.  I just wanted to publicly thank
all of you here, as I know I would not have nursed him this long without
reading all of your posts.  I am mostly a lurker, but I gathered so ...

leaking on sore side?14 Apr 2006 05:03 GMT2
I've been having problems on my right side: sore nipples,
nipple blanching, extremely painful nursing in the beginning
and end of nursing sessions, and achiness between
feedings (maybe b/c of blanching). Anyway, I've been
Cord size in relation to hunger? 13 Apr 2006 14:18 GMT1
I don't think i've posted here in a couple of years now since I had
da Bug in '03.  I had "Snuffy" on 14-Feb-06 & he had a cord so big
they sent it off to the lab to have tests done on it.  It was
perfectly fine.  He was 9lbs 6oz at birth & I was Gestational
