Antidepressants and nursing30 Sep 2006 00:10 GMT14
I'd like to hear what other people's opinions are on the safety of
antidepressants and nursing (my  10 week old)   I'm not suicidal or a
danger to my kids I think, but have been pretty miserable for a few
weeks, and it isn't getting better with more sleep, exercise, etc....
sheep's milk29 Sep 2006 05:13 GMT3
I read (admittedly on a sheep cheese/yoghurt maker's website) that:
"Allergy sufferers can also benefit from using sheep's milk and sheep's milk
products. Conditions as eczema, asthma and dietary problems can be relieved
with introducing sheep milk to one's diet."
Pump and dump? Aspirin28 Sep 2006 17:54 GMT9
I had a splitting headache at work, and not thinking took 2 aspirin
(not sure what size, really small pills ;-)), then remembered I wasn't
supposed to take aspirin while BF.
Is such a small amount significant? Should I pump and dump? If so, for
calling French speakers!!27 Sep 2006 20:07 GMT2
I met a lovely lady the other day whilst doing my shopping. She had a great
fantastic sling/wrap on, and I asked her where she bought it from.... The
only problem was, she was Fench, and had a very strong accent. She said she
bought it from a French internet company called (and this ...

She managed about 15 mls (1/2 oz) yesterday, which is more than usual,
and then BF'd ALL night and for 45mins straight at lunch. Today I had a
meeting so I BF'd her at 9am for 30 mins, but didn't get back as fast
Freezing breastmilk26 Sep 2006 19:12 GMT1
A simple question: Can I freeze breastmilk in ice cube trays, then put
into freezer bags? I just started my boy on rice cereal and mix it with
just a bit of breastmilk. When making foods for him later I plan to use
a bit of breastmilk in that too at first, but I don't need a whole
Well, today is Day One :(25 Sep 2006 15:44 GMT1
Oh man it's  hard to leave DD.
She wouldn't eat much this morning when I left her, so her last nursing
session was ~6:30am. I left 3 different types of bottles and told the
babysitter to call if she becomes hysterical.  She's still got a bit of
Now I'm getting nervous -daycare starts on Monday25 Sep 2006 14:28 GMT19
And DD still won't take a bottle!
A friend managed to get her to take 5 mls on saturday. We've tried once
since then (were travelling Monday and she had her shots today). We've
been trying - tho not daily - since she was 6 weeks old and she's 11

15 month checkup24 Sep 2006 23:52 GMT21
Went in for shots & checkup today. He ended up not getting the MMR because
she was concerned about his allergies & we decided just to wait a bit.
Alexander only gained 7 ounces in the last 3 months (he now weighs 21lbs
14oz) and that has her concerned. She wants me to add more ...
Should I worry about diahrea persisting?24 Sep 2006 19:13 GMT2
DD started having watery stools on Saturday (we were still in
Switzerland, returned Monday). Went to doc for her 2 month shots
Tuesday, he wasn't too worried, but they're not getting any better.
It's already 5 days now. She didn't have a fever tho did have a slight
static weight24 Sep 2006 14:04 GMT24
It's me again...
Just wondering if anyone thinks I should be worried about static weight
in my lil boy.  He has been the same weight since 11 months old, and
he's now almost 16 mo.  Still has chubby cheeks, still night feeds,
Milk already or never really went away?23 Sep 2006 02:25 GMT4
Alright, if this is TMI, I apologize first!
For the last little while, I've noticed I do have the first stages of milk
already.  I'm checking how far along I am because I can't remember lol...
I'm 35 weeks today.
