| Party tomorrow. | 31 Oct 2006 06:28 GMT | 4 |
Rhiannon turned 2 on Wednesday, and the big party is tomorrow. I just figured I chime in with my having made it to 2 years breastfeeding. I don't think she's going to be stopping any time soon either, actually, I think when I make the decision to wean it going to be quite ...

I'd read recently that eating oatmeal helps milk supply. So I've been having oatmeal off and on, and wow! My boobs are about to explode. Is this for real or is it just my imagination? I know beer is supposed to work too but DD doesn't like beer :( gives

I have a question about tooth decay. My baby is one (sob) already, and I noticed on his newly emerged top tooth that there is some brown with a pit on it. A little history:

| Nursing from one side only | 28 Oct 2006 21:38 GMT | 3 |
My daughter (just about 4 months old) is refusing to feed from one side, and nurses perfectly from the other side. She is exclusively bf and latches like a champ normally. Any ideas what could be causing her to do this? Any ideas to get her back to nursing both sides?

| toddler wants to nurse again | 27 Oct 2006 20:31 GMT | 2 |
I'm a little surprised that it took DD (26 months) so long, but she is interested in nursing again. She weaned a year ago when I got pregnant with DS, and DS is now three months old. She did all the typical regression stuff when he was born, but overall has adjusted pretty

| thyroid problem | 24 Oct 2006 06:48 GMT | 14 |
I have a thyroid problem. All of the treatment options contraindicate breastfeeding. Am I stupid for wanting to put them off until Rocky weans? He's 16 months old, so most people think weaning is not

| We're done! | 22 Oct 2006 11:36 GMT | 3 |
After 15 months and 11 days our nursing days are over. We were down to one morning feed. William had been showing no interest in the last couple weeks, refusing a few times and most of the rest fussing because he'd rather play with his toys. When he did feed it was very short, at

| Solids Advice Needed | 22 Oct 2006 11:32 GMT | 13 |
DD is 9 months and whenever we give her rice gets very constipated. I haven't given her wheat yet as there are allergies in the family so wanted to wait, especially considering how she's been going with the rice. She's also had issues with some fruit and veg not going down well ...

| Pumping ahead for back to work? | 18 Oct 2006 18:21 GMT | 3 |
My daughter is 6 weeks old, and nursing like a champ. I started pumping a couple of weeks ago, mainly to get her used to taking a bottle - she'll take an ounce or two every couple of days quite happily (and her big brother begs me to pump more often so he can feed her!).

| permanently bigger? | 16 Oct 2006 20:45 GMT | 9 |
I gained alot more than I should have with my last pregnancy. I went from 125 to about 170. But through diet and regular exercise, I am back to 127, and a bodyfat % below 25%. But I still can't fit my pre-pregnancy clothes. My hips and waist are bigger than they were before. ...

Hi Larry, Good to "see" you at rec.running. I'm training for few races these days. I'm still bf my 2 yo couple of times a day. She's too adamant for me to even start thinking of weaning. but weaning is something I have to do pretty soon. Just don't know how :)
