I waited about 3 weeks after the last feed before posting that post, as I continued to offer for a while and was only then I was convinced it wasn't going to happen, but, today I had a bath with the kids, I was just investigating to see if I still had milk and she saw and climbed ...

| Baby just NOT taking anything except my Boob ! | 19 Dec 2006 12:47 GMT | 4 |
My baby is now 6 months old. She only wants a Boob-feed. She used to take the bottle with my expressed milk upto 3 months. Then, she refused to take the bottle. We tried different nipples, techniques, different people, different places, sippy-cups, cup, spoon; but she

| Sleepless babies | 18 Dec 2006 22:53 GMT | 1 |
As we all know babies who cannot sleep are very difficult on the parents who naturally worry for their offspring. Plus the fatigue which naturally ensues reduced the tollerance and clouds the vision of Mum and Dad.

| Epidurals and bfing | 18 Dec 2006 21:22 GMT | 35 |
Found this on the BBC world service website this morning. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/6161727.stm (What really struck me was the comment that 93% of the women in the study started out breastfeeding, and at 6 months over 50% were still

| NIP - Info? | 18 Dec 2006 15:59 GMT | 10 |
I'm just wondering... I'm aware that everyone is from every corner of the globe, and IIRC, there's not too many that are from around where I am, but maybe there's a few I've missed that are around often, and here's to hoping there's a few lurkers...

| Can you save expressed milk if they don't finish the bottle? | 18 Dec 2006 15:56 GMT | 8 |
My baby tends to eat between 80 ml and 130 ml. The problem is that when she eats less there is milk left in the bottle. So far we've been throwing everything out that she doesn't finish. Since it's breast milk I hate to waste it. Can you put any leftover milk in the bottle

| All night smorgasbord | 15 Dec 2006 07:11 GMT | 40 |
Well, only one item on the buffet line. DD is 5 months now, still co-sleeping. We like it for the most part. I'd planned to transition her whenever she cut back to 1-2 nursings per night. She's reverse cycling so still eating a lot at night, but it had settled down. In

| delurking - frustrated | 14 Dec 2006 23:53 GMT | 7 |
I'm delurking to vent. E is 13 months old. She seems to have gone back to her newborn days with respect to night nursings. I can't sleep with her hanging on to the boob, and as a result I'm resentful and angry and just generally

| Kinda OT... Slings/wraps/carriers? | 14 Dec 2006 22:36 GMT | 5 |
IIRC, Irene had put a link showing ideas on how to make your own wrap... I found here: http://www.mamatoto.org/documents/MakeAWrap.pdf a basic home made wrap that you just buy the material and go, and it also has a few ways to wear it.

| Question about pumping | 14 Dec 2006 17:38 GMT | 3 |
DD2, 1 week old today, has been nursing just fine. No problems at all. I feed her on demand and she does eat well. Yesterday, I was sitting at the table nursing and I realized that the side she was not feeding on was leaking. (Yes, I know this is normal) and I

| feeling sick and flat | 14 Dec 2006 11:15 GMT | 6 |
DD is 11 months old and still mostly breastfed. She kind of eats solids at times, but is really more interested in just playing with it - which is fine. She's very healthy and happy - and I love feeding her, but while I'm happy, I'm not healthy. I've been feeling sick and flat ...

| Kivi is weaned - bittersweet | 12 Dec 2006 15:41 GMT | 3 |
Kivi and I have finally weaned (I think anyway). She turns 5 years old on Tuesday. I have been weaning her for the last six months or so. Generally, it was so gradual and gentle, that I don't think she really noticed. But

| why does my baby move so much during nursing | 12 Dec 2006 02:54 GMT | 3 |
I got very good response for my first posted question. So I am posting this one to see if there is any Moms who have the same experience. Some time when I nurse my baby, she moves so much. Her whole body moves. This makes it very hard to nurse. I thought it may be becuase
