| She refuses to nap! | 31 Jan 2007 16:34 GMT | 11 |
Not really a BF issue, but figured I'd post here anyway... DD is 7 months old on Saturday. She's never been a great napper for me, altho when smaller at least she'd sleep ON me. She no longer does that. Still, we usually manage a 30 min or one hour nap at least each

| I have a local LLL leader and the health nurse stumped... | 30 Jan 2007 09:55 GMT | 12 |
I have something strange going on, and it's left both an LLL leader and a health nurse wondering. For some reason, my nipples are extremely red, when they're normally like a light brown color. Just the nipples, not around or anything. Also, the

| I know it's not about getting a gold medal or anything.... | 26 Jan 2007 03:07 GMT | 21 |
so why does it bug me so much when people disparage, or at least dismiss my efforts? I really don't *need* a pat on the back (tho the occassional one is definitely nice!), but what gets me is the person who says "I had low

| Storage dilemma | 25 Jan 2007 18:41 GMT | 3 |
I've been pumping and storing since almost the beginning after DD2 was born. She's 3 months old tomorrow (wow!) She's had bottles of EBM every now and then, and when I first started pumping and storing, I bought the stupidly expensive bags that are

| Mixing??? | 24 Jan 2007 12:19 GMT | 10 |
I thought this was a big no-no... Mixing formula and breast milk... The quickness of the situation... A lady on a local board for mostly SAHMs is going for surgery on Thursday.

| I did it! (A wrap) | 23 Jan 2007 20:18 GMT | 4 |
After the little discussion about baby wraps and all that, I went out and picked up this nasty pink material. I figured it was stretchy and I thought it 'rolled' when stretched. Turned out that it did fray and not 'roll' and it also really wasn't as

| CTTD | 23 Jan 2007 11:32 GMT | 1 |
DS2 is nearly 20mo now. He has never had formula. I have BFed his teddy a number of times. Last week he was sitting on the step with his shirt up, BFing Teddy. Teddy seemed a bit low but I didn't think anything of it. Today, after his bath, I had to BF Teddy again. Then DS2

| Possible to maintain BF with 6 1/2 month old on 1 week cruise by pumping? | 22 Jan 2007 21:46 GMT | 6 |
So...I just found out I won a cruise (!) in March - but my baby will only be 6 1/2 months old then, and by the rules of the contest everybody who goes has to be 21. So I can't take him with me. Is it possible to maintain our BF relationship if I'm away from him for a

| What to drink at night after weaning? | 22 Jan 2007 19:55 GMT | 8 |
I'm in the process of weaning. I'm down to morning and night (before bed). I'm close to dropping the morning feeding (which I think he's ready, since he points to the door when I come in and fights my nursing him). After that, I'll only have the nighttime one.

I'd like to start using sign language for basic words. Is there an online research for this? Betsy

| Good or bad advice given? | 22 Jan 2007 03:40 GMT | 8 |
For me, I thought this wasn't good advice at all. I wanted to know what others thought! Last night, around 1am, off I go to the 24h pharmacy, taking DD2 with me. She's 12 weeks now, and for the last week or so, she's been quite difficult,

| Is it normal if baby's tummy rumbles while nursing? | 21 Jan 2007 11:55 GMT | 1 |
My baby had diarrhea for a month. Since then, I notice her tummy rumbles big time when I am nursing her, sometimes a couple of hours after nursing. The gas generated makes her very uncomfortable. Is this normal? What are the possible causes? Is there anything I can do to
