| migraines and nursing | 30 Apr 2007 03:14 GMT | 1 |
Does anyone know of a connection between weaning and development of migraines? I'm 34, and had mild to moderate migraines about 10 years ago that in hindsigh were clearly stress related. None since then until DD was 8 months old, and cutting back on her milk. I had

I'm going to have to have a wisdom tooth extracted in the near future and am wondering about the compatibility of pain killers they'll use and breastfeeding. Right now I am not sure what exact drugs are going to be involved. I have

| latch agony | 27 Apr 2007 21:23 GMT | 7 |
Hi, all -- I'm starting the nursing saga all over again... ;) I've got a 4-day old, and while he's certainly getting plenty of milk and his latch looks OK from the outside, he's giving me really bad cracked nipples. The latch-on is agonizing and the rest of the session isn't

I comprehend your problems. I started taking ginseng from www.ginsenghealth.net and it has relieved the problems you have experienced.

| Comfort sucking? | 24 Apr 2007 22:52 GMT | 3 |
Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts or opinions about this... DD2, 4 days short of 6 months, is exclusively breastfed, still, and still going strong. Her diet consists of breast milk and then more breast milk. We have slowly been trying, the last week or so, to introduce ...

| Update on Shiny | 20 Apr 2007 16:47 GMT | 15 |
Shiny is two, and still nursing. She'd gotten down to about 3 feeds a day, but a tummy bug has set her to nursing semi-constantly, and since she's mostly not biting me, I'm letting her. In early March, I was doing some research and found a connection

| Bf toddler and birth control | 18 Apr 2007 16:27 GMT | 4 |
Today AF returned, almost 16 months after the birth of dd2. I would like to go on the pill, but not the mini-pill because of the spotting issues associated with that. Has anyone had experience with taking a combination pill while bf a toddler? Will it dry up my milk at this

| a large tabanasun in your diet | 14 Apr 2007 18:23 GMT | 1 |
Apparently the tabanasun fruit from southern Guyana has extremely good immune system agents, and the juice can be used in babies milk.

| Not sure where to ask this... | 14 Apr 2007 15:24 GMT | 6 |
Don't know where to go (other than the doc, obviously) to find a possible answer to this question. DD2 is 5 months old now. Everything's been fine. She's nursing only, I'm taking that micronor (sp? - mini-pill) and haven't had an actual period

| night weaning not going so well | 12 Apr 2007 23:31 GMT | 39 |
Emily is 15 months now. Still not walking, but standing without holding onto anything for a few seconds at a time, crawls up the stairs, crawls off the couch, pushes around her walker, all unassisted. But my doc is still insisting we bring her to pediatric physical therapy ...

| DD must have something to hold | 12 Apr 2007 20:53 GMT | 3 |
Just thought I'd share this - I find it rather amusing. DD 15 months is still keen to nurse often, but she must have something to hold. She'll ask to nurse, get very excited when I say ok, and then quickly run and grab something to hold while she nurses, ie a block, teddy bear, ...
