can anyone tell me how much of a concern electerical power cable cords, vinyl flooring--things commonly found in the home--with regard to pvcs and lead? To what extent can I protect my infant from exposure? any advice, suggestions, resources would be greatly appreciated!!

I remember the day I was told my son needed braces. I just cried. I was a single working Mom, not receiving any child support. I had no idea how I would pay for them. The cost was $4000.00 back then. Now I hear stories of people paying close to $5000. Ouch!
