I still can't believe this story.  Only the Register would carry it.
German policewomen took industrial action because although a bullet-proof
vest stops the bullet, the impact pushes the underwires from their bras

Today was my husband's half-day at work, to get off at noon.  He took
on 3 extra hours, and we were both pleased about the overtime.  While
he was at work, I dropped the  younger 2 boys off at daycamp and took
