A friend of mine here in Hamilton was due to deliver her baby in 6 weeks.
On Friday, her baby hadn't moved since the night before, she was 34 weeks,
she went for a scan and wee Thomas had died.
She delivered via c-sect on Friday night and they are only just telling

DH and I were in the back yard with M this evening while she played. The
girl (8yo) who lives downstairs came running out and was sitting around
talking to us. I guess I should first explain the situation downstairs as
best I can. The tenants (male and female) downstairs moved in as ...

My 9 year old son broke his arm at school on Friday and they did not cast
him that night and the doctor said not to worryif they don't get to him for
a week or more. Has anyone else had experience with broken bones? I'm a
little concerned to let him run around cause without a cast ...

We just cut back our cable tv service to the basic selection.  We've had the
most you could get, less the premium movie channels, for about two years
now, maybe 3.  DS is very concerned.  Seems there is nothing suitable for
children to watch on the main tv stations in the evening ...

Hello everyone!  Just wanted to introduce myself - I am a mommy to one baby
boy, 6 months and am excited to get to know some new people here :)

NO idea how I want to just pick up a bag of chips and call it a 'side dish'

Any suggestions?  If I can make it in a crock pot .. that's even better!

I've watched 2 episodes of Corrie, Hells Kitchen, Big Brothers Little
Brother and the start of Big Brother 5.
I've had 4 cans of Ritz, and I can still type coherently.

Im curious as to when others here treat kids with a fever with meds. In
the past I used to treat them quite aggressively but Im trying to let
nature run its course more (K is 4) Anyway Ive just given K some

I saw an ad in the local paper last night for branch staff for a local
office of a nationwide insurance company.  I haven't been actively thinking
of changing my job but in the last few months I'm becoming so disillusioned
(sp?!) at work, I'm just so pissed off with selling mobile ...

Changed my nic... this summer we will be sticking near the water to stay
cool... I need some motivation in my steps!

Well..
Tonight in the UK we had the last ever Friends and the first Big
Brother  -
the housemates are in and what fun we're gonna have by the looks of it

Well, she goes in on tuesday to have pins put in her arm.  When the swelling
went down all the way the cast was too big and one of the bones shifted.  If
the pins don't hold they will have to put a plate in.
The fun never ends.

12:35pm and it's 92*F in the shade.  I should be out there putting in
more veggie and herb plants, but it's starting to get a might warm.
It's nice and cool in the house.  We've got all the windows open
(except the one Xena knocked the screen out of), plus the inside
