the path of jeanne has changed slightly again, which means I'm getting
hurricane force winds now at 10am.   The eye is passing about 10 miles north
of me - which means my work, and many of my friends are getting the heaviest
winds now.

Just thinking of her now after reading Rorq's good news.
Has anyone been talking to her lately?

We have a HEAP of spirits here as are having a long planned and awaited
cocktail party tonight, let's start it now in AM and then I'll carry it on
with friends here once you lot are in bed!

So far, so good, for us.
We are experieincing 60 mph winds right now, but still have power, cable and
sat.  It was quite the night to listen to the storm build outside.   We are
getting gusts of hurricane force winds.

So much has happened!  I will *try* to make this quick.
Charles birthday party was scheduled Saturday afternoon.  Food was bought
and fixed. . . all the preparations were made.  Birthday cake was ordered

Now that workers comp is stopped, I have to get a job.  It's been 4 years
since I last worked.  I need a sedintary job but have no office skills.  I
know my way around a computer well enough but whose going to hire me?  I
would need part time cant afford child care.. I feel like ...

Well I had all but given up on finding a doctor down here in NC (North
Carolina) that would take Ohio workers comp.  Well I just got a call from a
doctor that specializes in feet and is willing to take Ohio workers
comp!!!!!!!!   I'm so elated right now.... maybe I'll finally get ...

Well with still having some evidence of fleas in the carpet I talked to
our vet when our cats had their jabs this week (embarrasing experience -
one cat needs to go to weight watchers, the other wet herself after
refusing the litter tray all day). She gave us a super duper spray ...

I'm not pregnant.
This happens all the time with me. I take the damn tests and then I get my
period a few days later. I got it this morning.
Now I can't stop crying.

W/ the teacher that DD has.  She sends home homework w/ no directions.  Just
the worksheet and who knows what I am supposed to do with it!  How can I help
her when I have no idea what to do myself!?!
Ugh ... no wonder DD is having such a hard time.

All three done and dusted, and life can disintegrate for a while. Really
going to enjoy the hold with the kids if I can just get this last job out
the door.
