amazon bless em have really mucked this one up. Sent a refund for the
crockpot instead of sending a new one and only partly refunded the cost
of postage. I sent them an email telling them theyd got it wrong and how
disappointed I was with them. Got a lovely apologising email back ...

DS comes home with a note today.
This year DS is part of the school news broadcast program.   This is an
extra curricular that is done before school.   I have to drop DS off eary
for this each day.   Usually they rotate the kids, 1 week the participate in

I was just buzzing around the house today!!  I went up to the diy shop,
picked up 3 trellis, some pavoirs, and a new sander.  Unloaded that.
Planted some herbs that desperately needed a real pot (so I put 'em in
an old wood wine box).  Was cleaning the grills (both indoor and out)

Well, I was so desperate after being up all sunday night that I went on a
Toddler Bed adventure! I went with my friend, who lives about 30 min east of
here (that's considered far where I live, LOL) And we had 2 kids with us and
had to tie this giant box into my tiny car's trunk ...

I posted yesterday that I didn't get anything done, that I pretty much just
played w/ The Toddler all day.  However I just didn't enjoy it, it wasn't a
comfortable and relaxing day ... I don't know why I didn't realize it before,

Sorry if this is a bit off topic but I'm hoping there are a couple of you
who are good at handyman stuff.
I have to attach a baton for curtains to a wall above a window (for Austrian
blinds). I can find the studs OK but I'm not sure whether to try to fasten
