already :-)
Child abuse question22 Oct 2004 03:03 GMT6
My neighbor is 15.  She has bruises on her and says it's from her dad and
step mom.  I've offered that if anything happens my house is open for her
and that they won't be allowed in.  If they do try I'll call the police  The
courts are already involved but she's not getting ...
Mr 3.5 and the swimming22 Oct 2004 03:01 GMT11
Well tonight went FAR better than the last two lessons.
Tonight he actually 'participated' and did what he was told (well, what he
could understand).  He has JUST about learnt to blow bubbles!!!  Woohoo
As he was getting dressed after the swim he even said a sentence....
War on Terror, Bait & Switch?22 Oct 2004 03:01 GMT2
Does anyone see the war on terror as bait and switch? We were baited with
the war on terror, provoked by al-Qaeda. The war on terror was switched for
the war on Iraq, to separate Saddam from oil. We have not been attacked
since Sep-11 is because the terrorists got what they ...

We've Sold The Flat....Again!22 Oct 2004 02:37 GMT4
After the recent disaster when the last buyer pulled out after his
survey, I paid a structural engineer to come and look at the
place...his report is really not so bad...he believes a leaking drain
has caused some subsidence, that would cost maybe £2K to put right,

Girl has some pipes on her21 Oct 2004 23:20 GMT8
This was the 4th or 5th time we've seen Sarah McLachlan in concert in
the last 6 years or so.  We felt okay with that, til she mentioned that
she hadn't been in Dublin for 10 years!
Great show.  I forget what a great singer she really is.  The band seems

Silly comment21 Oct 2004 21:21 GMT21
I was telling DH how we were talking about Desperate Housewives in here
recently (he just watched the first two eps *finally*).  Thought it was
hilarious when I said, in reference to the trunk in the river, "We were
talking about Desperate Housewives in alt.moms...."
My husband and I rant21 Oct 2004 21:18 GMT49
Got into the biggest fight yesterday.  I took my drugs for my foot and when
i take them they knock me out for hours upon hours.  I woke up "finally" at
2:10pm yes that late.  to hear my son screaming.  I wondered what was going
on so I went to his room and got him, changed his ...

I give up!21 Oct 2004 20:03 GMT11
Now that I have a doctor that says my foot isn't better, the state of Ohio
wants one of their doctors to examine me.  Back on July 1 their doc said I
wasn't as good as I'm going to get.  WTF?  I am so about ready to say F*CK
it.
CTTS21 Oct 2004 19:57 GMT8
Well, we got a HUGE laugh out of OS the other day.  My in-laws came over
this past Sunday and we all went out to eat at a buffet-style restaurant.
DH came back from the buffet with his plate piled with shrimp.  No OS can't
quite tell the difference between seafoods yet.  As soon ...
