Between getting Missy A to bed, tending to her when she cried out,
Missy E's questions of "What's that for?" and "Can I help?".... I
*finally* got Missy A's new Exersaucer put together..... it's just the
beginning of things that are labelled, "Assembly Required" for that

speaking of cakes 21 Oct 2004 04:42 GMT8
My aunt, who died several years ago, used to make the most amazing apple spice
cake EVER.
It has at least 7 or 8 layers and the filling was made w/ dried apples.  It was
VERY spicy, it almost burned your mouth.  OMG .. I LOVED the stuff.  But no one

Ok, house goes on the market tomorrow.  We have a neighbor who's father has
just phoned and offered us what we want, as is, sight unseen, if we don't
use the realtor.  I suspect we have to pay the realtor some sort of penalty
if we don't use her for the sale, and then there are ...

I try to pack healthy and easy to eat foods in The Kid's lunches.  While she is
VERY happy w/ Peanut butter and honey on whole grain, I'm a little sick of

I have started making her Jell-O cups.  I'm making the Jell-O out of the

Anger management in kids??20 Oct 2004 22:45 GMT9
My BIL spends a lot of time over  here. He's 11 years old. Lately, he and
Alena sit and play together, which is nice for both of them.
However, for the last two days, he's been playing video games.
He gets REALLY angry, really fast, and I mean fast.

Leaving child unattended (rant)20 Oct 2004 20:11 GMT31
It's our 2 week stay back home, in a cottage in the middle of nowhere. I'm
at work, while DH babysits DS during his nap. At 3pm I decide to go home
early, the weather is finally nice. When I get home, the door is locked,
no DH in sight, but DS's curtains are drawn. I figure they are ...

Presidential Debate, Leadership?20 Oct 2004 14:27 GMT2
Does it matter that Bush snorted Cocaine at Camp David, or Clinton
had an affair in the White House? Does it affect their ability to lead
by example? Do their momentary weaknesses hinder their leadership?
