I found a journal that my sister who is now 11 filled out every morning in
1st grade. The prompt that the teacher gave them said, "Write a greeting
that you would like to send to the whole world." My sister wrote, "We are
all holding hands in God's world."

[some of this might be repetitive, sorry]
   Well I've started to gear myself up for a rough holiday season. This
will be our first Thanksgiving and Christmas without my grandma and we did
NOT ever imagine that the 2003 holidays would be her last.

This morning Alena ate a slice of bread with margarine! Last night she ate
THREE slices of bread... one right after another. Now she's sipping on some
milk with cocoa (she won't drink just plain milk, but I'm getting exhausted
with 20+ nursing sessions a day).

I just got a call from Workers Compenstation saying I'm eligible for
Vocational Rehab.  They previously said that I wasn't....  This means I get
money back!!!  Just in time for the holidays.

in the continuing saga of toilet training Boo, we have gone to
bribes. he gets a Hot Wheel type car for using the toilet. he
gets a take-along Thomas toy for staying dry & clean all day.
this occaisionally works... or so we thought, niave parents

My friend has been invited to a baby shower hosted by of all people
Julie Andrews (what the?) it was some competion that the pregnant mama
won from a store called target. She's quite excited but she doesn't know

OK, so I've never gone over there to see what's up.   But I just tried -
and, is it me, or does the german server not carry it?   Or, am I getting
the acronym wrong?

This morning my father and I went to Blijdorp Zoo here in Rotterdam. We
do that once or twice every year, so we know the Zoo fairly well. We
don't visit all the animals, but pick those that we like best, like the

I went up in weight this week, not down. I'm on my way back down, but my
body just doesn't seem to be able to get under that 75 kg mark :-(.
