Quote of the week11 Nov 2004 18:34 GMT2
To be loving, you don't need to have someone special in your life.
The state of loving is special in itself.
It needs no particular goal.  No particular object.
It's a state of mind and heart.
it's ok11 Nov 2004 18:09 GMT32

It will at least give some time where Ty will be buckled in and won't be
getting into anything ;-) hmmm maybe I could just drive around town all day

College anecdote (long)11 Nov 2004 17:50 GMT1
After discussing the joys and griefs of going to college with Kara, I was
reminded of what we (as senior undergrads) did to the newcomers back home.
It's nothing gross of sorts, the goal was to teach that a high score on a
'test' doesn't necessarily reflect how smart you are...

Was just talking with Joyce there - she's not settling at all and was
feeling a bit rough - I hope she's happier soon

Tuesday weigh-in 2 November11 Nov 2004 14:48 GMT22
Well, I haven't lost any weight this week, which keeps me at 75 kg. A
nice enough weight, but I have seen it already LOL! Now ladies, most of
you have been awfully quiet in the past few weeks, how's the weight loss
going? Spill it ;-)!

when to give allowance11 Nov 2004 06:41 GMT6
When is it an OK time to start giving kids a small allowance?  OS is 5 and I was thinking of giving
him $1 a week or something to get him started.  He's a pretty good kid and helps out as much as a 5
year old can (helps to clean his room, helps to clear the table, etc.), so I ...

Up early so I've a few minutes to read and post this morning.  Thought I'd
share my latest mis hap with you.  Seems we grown ups were getting low on
toothpaste.  I kept forgetting to get it.  Meant to get it while we were out
to cub scouts last night but forgot.  So, getting ready ...
Wow!  Truely tallented keyboard10 Nov 2004 22:04 GMT29
I have the most unusual way of making people post.
One simple statement (true statement of fact), no dirty words, no name
calling, and WHOOSH!  Flames start flying!
