Guys,
I'm still sick and Charles is still sick.  I can't break his fever and I am
taking him to the doctors today.  James was here since early Monday
afternoon, but he had to go to work today.  My nephew David is here to help

Hello all!!  I hope that everyone is having/has had a wonderful holiday.  We're still reeling from
all the gifts and such here.  My living room is STILL a disaster -- will be for at least a couple
days!  lol!
I need some advice, though...  I'm a little -- well, a LOT -- irritated ...

There are always terrible things happening in the world, and sometimes
I think the sheer magnitude of awfulness makes me, at least, almost
immune to the horror of it.
Yet the Tsunami disaster has me wanting to send every penny I have to

Hope everyone had a good Christmas. Ours was kind of crazy. We are in Ohio
and had tons of snow and ice and we were without power for 4 days.The kids
held up pretty good but it was hard for them to open X-mas gifts like
computer games and such and not be able to play them for two ...

I can't believe Christmas is over already. It comes and goes so fast.
For some reason this Christmas had a very weird feeling to me. I can't
pinpoint any real reasons why or what might be behind it that I am aware of.

Well, I guess guilt got the better of MIL.  When we got to her house, she had decided to buy TWO of
that particular toy.  One for home and one for their house.  So I guess I can't be mad.  :)

One of our cats bought in a late christmas present tonight - a live
mouse. She always heralds such a present with much miaowing.
