What is treacle tart?
Seriously? I've read about it in like 8 different books now and I just have
NO idea!
And what in the hell is tripe? I found some in a groccery store, but I have

This one seems to work better, at least I now have a 't' and a 'y'.
No, I didn't spill anything on the previous two...they just...stopped
working.  It could only happen to me...

Don't clip your Lhasa Apso while drunk .. no one else seems to think you did
as good of a job as you think you did.
Andrea13 Apr 2005 20:55 GMT4
Anyone here know what is going on with Andrea? Over at mkp there is a post
saying her water broke and another person posted that she read her live
journal and said it was "scary". I hope she is alright.

Complaint letter of the year13 Apr 2005 16:35 GMT2
Complaint Letter of the Year. The British do have a way with words.... A
real-life customer complaint letter sent to NTL (to their complaints dept....)
Dear Cretins,
I have been an NTL customer since 9th July 2001, when I signed up for your

SBD - silent but deadly.   WHO FARTED!!!
I'm alone in the room with the cat and the dog.   DH is off at tennis.   DS
is on the far side of the house writing his book report.   I didn't fart, as
I'd know if I farted.   But the smell in this room was so rancid, a stink
Wish me sanity!13 Apr 2005 16:08 GMT17
I have to take both girlies for well-visits tomorrow.  Miss A is
having her 1 year visit, Miss E her Kindergarten physical.
Both have to get jabs :-(
I have a feeling I'm going to have fun tomorrow... NOT.
Thoughts and prayers needed13 Apr 2005 15:53 GMT11
My mom was having chest pains today and went to the doc and they did an ekg.
The doc said her heart was fine but told her to go to the hospital for some
tests.  She's there now.  Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.  Not
only is she my mom but she is my best friend.  TIA
The Aussie psyche and a.m (a bit of a ramble)13 Apr 2005 12:11 GMT41
I've been reading all the posts about differences in culture, humour and
perceptions about others and I find it quite interesting how people from
different countries react (taking into account the vast range of
personalities as well).
For JJ...a list of a few books that I found interesting13 Apr 2005 03:16 GMT16
Normally, my choice of books is influenced by a stay at the book store.
If I see something of interest, I read a few pages from the middle of the
book...I can usually tell how good the rest of it is from that.
I don't know what your genre is, but mine is usually Sci-Fi and Horror.
CTTS: Vanilla Ice Cream13 Apr 2005 02:28 GMT10
I was just reminded by The Ranger's post about a shopping trip yesterday.
I love ice cream. Being diabetic, I can't eat a lot of it. So when it comes
on sale, I pick some up and it tends to last a long time.
While in the ice cream aisle, I was debating, and talking out loud to
Trip to the A&E?13 Apr 2005 01:47 GMT19
DS2 (20months) fell down the stairs about 10/15 minutes ago, 14 steps worth.
He was on his way up to me with a pair or shoes, I didn't realise. I was
in the bedroom changing my clothes. He's usually well able to go up and
down the stairs but I would usually be keeping an eye on ...
A B C D polkadot!!!!13 Apr 2005 00:33 GMT4
I love dgd's sense of humor.  She always seems to have been
able to sense the absurd.  Her latest one is singing the ABC
song out of order or putting in words that are funny to her.
So we get ABCQPRSZ  and ABCD polkadot or ABCD orange.
CTTS - "Baby Wash"13 Apr 2005 00:24 GMT5
Spawn's teacher is due for her maternity leave. We, the parents, like her a
lot! She's a shining example of what teaching is all about. As a thank you,
of sorts, for all the work she's managed with the entire class, we're
organizing a baby shower for her. I mentioned it to Spawn so ...
