Okay...break out the drinks...12 Apr 2005 23:16 GMT18
Personally, I post here because I like all the people in here...I don't
care where you're from, who you are...what you do, or what the difference
is between a loo and a restroom.  <---Example only!
Another example:  Me and Dorothy have completely opposing political and

TV OD 12 Apr 2005 08:12 GMT6
How much TV do your kids get to watch?  I'm trying to figure out a plan for
my kids.  I have made "tickets" allowing 30 min of tv time.  These tickets
will not be earned, however an extra one could be earned for a special
event.
Cultural differences?12 Apr 2005 07:17 GMT67
Ok.  The thread about this group being *too* American
sets me off.  I would miss the people who are from other
countries if they stopped posting here.
What cultural misunderstandings are we having now?
When the darling child will not go to sleep...12 Apr 2005 03:36 GMT15
Tonight, of all nights my darling daughter decides to fight sleep with a
vengence.  We read books to her at 9 and here it 11 and she is still not

Well, I have given up and am taking her into my bedroom, so that I can at
I want to say sorry12 Apr 2005 03:16 GMT24
But I can't bring myself to.............and I feel bad because of that.

I probably should have kept my mouth shut to keep the group dynamic steady.
To word that better, I'm sorry for how I said what I said ...

I know I haven't been posting in here recently.
But I just have one thing to say.
STOP IT.
I can't believe we have to explain to this level the things we say.  I

I'm not sure.  I don't think it's *wrong* at all .. but I'm not so sure my
older DD could deal with it.
I think it would be cool for her to see how the human body works ... and w/
Polyamory deviant or not?11 Apr 2005 15:41 GMT33
I am not posting this just shock people.  I am actually doing research.  I
really would like to know how each of you feel about the poly life style.
Poly. Lifestyle:  Being able to love more than one person at the same time.
Some of those people will be like a sister or brother, ...
I've had enough11 Apr 2005 02:26 GMT6
Okay, I'll let it all hang out before I hit the door.
Yes, I found Megan's comment to be unnecessarily snarky.  Turns out,
that was the case.  As I said in another post, I can understand the
frustration when you feel USAians speak as if you're 'uncivilized'.
