Sorry folks...but I've been pretty busy with a new project...the
beginnings of what appears to be one of the longest and most detailed
novels that I've ever written...I started on the first chapter just last
Saturday.

I have been crazy busy getting things together for the art show!  (not a
craft show)
my hands hurt from all the knitting, crochet, painting and thread work.  I
just hope that something sells! :)

about 15 years ago i saw a children's book where the main
characters were cats (kittens actually) with wings. i didn't
have the money to buy it then & i've never seen it since. i
don't remember the title or the author.

Alrighty, let's see. The past weeks/months I did little else than math
and of course y'all know by now just how much I *love* the intriguing

My doc hit me over the head with lab work numbers in late February.  She
packed me off to cholesterol-lowering class.  I went, paid attention,
and have revamped (since about March 3) and continue to revamp my
lifestyle with a combination of increased physical exercise (barf) and

THanks all for the encouragement.  I will be offline for at least 3 or  days
and then it will only be sporadic as we will not be getting internet at home
until end of may.  After all lol I will be gone for 3 weeks visiting my
family and greg has internet at work :)

It is official
I have Type 2 Diabetes the final test results came through today.
Have medication I have started on, at this stage it doesn't look diet
and exercise related unfortunately as we have worked really hard on that

After a nice and relaxing holiday, I had my 23w checkup yesterday, which
included another growth estimate of both babies. In short: they are
growing perfectly according to schedule. Baby boy is an ounce or so
lighter than his sister, but all other measurements put them at 23w

It seems that the 'in' thing to do now is to register your kid at the toy
store for his/her birthday.
Is this just something going on locally?  Is this a new trend?

I now work fridays as one of my 2 days a week and it was my second day
back, I'm so rusty and felt way out of my depth, I had a headache and
felt stressed but at the same time loved being there and feeling like my
old self iykwim. Ds is settling into his childcare, DD already ...

My nephew David wrote a poem for his Mommy on Mother's Day.  This young man
has a great sense of humor and he also tugs at the heart strings.  He's 19
years old and tries to be silly whenever he can.......even when writing to
