E's pre-school was supposed to have a field trip to the zoo today, but thunderstorms forced it's cancellation. So, we took out our supplies and had a safari in the house with her many stuffed animals. Afterwards, we had our picnic lunch :-)

....with my new hairstylist! Ive been needing a haircut for ages since my hairdressers closed. Anyway I fancied a change and with some money Ive earned I got brave and went to one of the more expensive/trendy places.

They now think it's kidney stones, there was more blood in his urine this morning. At this stage they have simply given him more painkillers and some other meds to try and help ease the pain.

Has anyone heard this singer/songwriter? I just bought her CD and it is awesome!!! She is Canadian and sings folk/country music. I am typically not a country fan but this woman is great.

Hey Guys, Charles has mastered the "getting out of the crib" thing in the last couple of days and bedtime is becoming a nightmare. I used to constantly brag about my son and how good he would put himself to sleep. No any more.

I am in the process of removing all the hair color from my hair. NOT an easy task. This $&!# is driving me nuts and it has to stay on for an hour!! I just hope I don't end up looking like a pumpkin when I'm done.

Big goose-egg.....and it's not Charles this time but me! He was playing at the park and there was a jungle gym type thing with slides and ladders to climb on. Of course my son...aka Danger Boy, goes to the edge where there is a 4 foot drop and looks as if he's ready to step off ...

is growing up WAY too fast. As my post yesterday stated, he figured out to get out of the playpen. I dealt with that little surprise for Mother's Day. DH and I discussed the crib situation and toddler beds. DS goes down for a nap (in the crib) and Mommy here has the monitor on ...
