We took dgd to the circus on Saturday and she absolutely loved it. She decided that she was an acrobat and began piling up cushions and jumping off them (sticking her landings like a real gymnast, btw). She was saying "I'm a little acrobat"

As a PTO president, I am always looking to involve other volunteers so that I don't have to do as much real work. In some events that works the charm. In others, well... I am the chair and each volunteer. I like volunteering!

i'm a fan of freecycling, even though i'm not on a list. i just put stuff at the end of the drive (we have a turn area) with a 'free' sign. recently i put out 2 nice footstools that i didn't need, &

I am going to google this but in the meanwhile I thought someone might have personal experience to share- A child that was here on tuesday got sick with high fever by thursday night and was diagnosed w/Coxsackie Virus.

It went really really well :) I got to the playground well beforehand and decorated it with lots of balloons and a sign Id made that says the park name in flowers (last year Id done a glass mosaic from all the glass we picked up in the park)

Question for you. If you were at a swim meet. The timers are timing their lanes. People are standing around wanting to check times to see if the child beat their previous times and see who won. The folks by the lanes see two kids come in

I just read my first Marian Keyes book (sushi for beginners) and really enjoyed it - a great summer read - light, liked the characters, had a laugh and now it's done :-) Thanks for the suggestions! Teri

At work was today. Small boy started vomitting at 1.30am!!! I couldn't believe it, he hasn't been sick the whole time since I stopped working (other than the chicken pox IIRC)
