Crud, mom's birthday is 2 days away. When I talked to her a couple weeks
ago I'd asked her if there was anything she was wanting for her birthday
this year. Her only response was a new car, and a new home. Neither of
which are in my budget for gift giving this year...

I haven't had a chance to read the ng and doubt that I will, I'm just
home for a couple of hours to sort a few things out at this end.
On Friday we got the call to hurry to Matamata as Dad was on his way out
of this world. It was doubtful as to whether we would get there on time.

How to talk so kids will listen & listen so kids will talk? What did you
think of it? I feel like a broken record, always repeating myself and often
not getting response til I raise my voice and it's very tiring and not
particularly good for anyone.... Thanks.

Just a few hours away and if all goes well, I'll be watching. I haven't
decided where to go to get the best veiwing at this point. Too bad they
won' tlet me sit on an overpass on the interstate. :-)
